Is Forsage A Scam? Earn Real Cash With This Ethereum MLM Gifting Scheme?
Welcome to My Forsage Review!
Last time, I received a message from a family member, asking if I’ve heard of Forsage and whether it’s a scam or not. She said that it’s been widely used by her colleagues in making extra cash online and that she’s interested in joining the platform, too.
Forsage Review Summary
Name: Forsage
Website: www.forsage.io
Founders: Not Disclosed
Product Type: Multi-Level Marketing But Pyramid Scheme In Disguise
Price: 0.05 ETH (Equivalent To $12) To Join
Quick Summary: Forsage is a cryptocurrency opportunity that's becoming wildly popular nowadays. Some people say that they are earning but if you look at the reviews, most of them are obviously from its affiliates, hoping to invite new people.
Worst, the brand is not transparent with everything -- owners, company details, and even contact information.
Overall Rating: 1/10
Recommended: No
The name sounds familiar although I haven’t used the program personally. I did a quick check online and seeing that it involves cryptocurrency and recruitment, I quickly sent her a response, saying not to join the program.
While cryptocurrency is legit and widely accepted, most platforms offering this, such as iPro Network are either a scam or an extremely low-quality program that you have to watch out for.
In this post, we’ll find out the red flags about Forsage (if there’s any) and whether it’s worth your time or not.
What Is Forsage About?
Unlike typical low-quality cryptocurrency sites, Forsage’s website has been professionally made. Seems like someone took an effort in making their online platform visually appealing.
The problem is the usual red flags -- no details about the company, no information about the owner. Nothing that would reveal anything about the business opportunity. In its FAQ section, it even says that it has no manager, leaders, or even admins.
Sounds fishy already, right?
But anyway, let’s discuss the basics -- what is Forsage about?
Forsage, which has been privately registered in February 2020, is a company that promotes cryptocurrency following a multi-level marketing (MLM) structure. It requires you to recruit people or make your team so you can earn commissions but other than that, there’s no other option to obtain an income.
If you’re new to cryptocurrency, the simplest way to describe is this: it works like cash or credit cards as it allows you to make a transaction online, such as buying or trading. It can only be used virtually or digitally though.
On its website, it says that it's a “crowdfunding international platform” that performs a “function of distribution of the affiliate commissions between community members.”
In my own words, depending on more than a dozen reviews about similar programs I’ve done in the past, it simply means that you have to recruit people so you can earn cash… that is if the program will let you.
Forsage Product Line
Unlike typical MLM brands, there are no tangible products to sell or digital services to promote. No eBooks, slimming capsules, mentorship, or anything to make money from other than their affiliate membership.
This is another red flag as there’s no way to earn cash than to invite people to join the program.
Does Product Work?
If you check online, you can browse good and bad reviews about Forsage but, such as the screenshot below. You can read more in this link, too.
What I noticed with the reviews, however, is that the positive ones always end up with an affiliate link. It’s like these people will tell you that Forsage is a good opportunity and end up inviting you to join the platform. Too bad, some people are wise enough to buy it.
How To Make Money With Forsage?
As mentioned, the only way is to recruit a family, friend, or stranger. There are no real products or services other than the affiliate membership.
Quoting their words from their website, “a lot of people are interested in earning online” so you don’t really have to invite your family or friends. However, seeing a couple of red flags, are you really willing to put more people’s finances at risk?
Anyway, like network marketing companies, it follows a certain structure. As for Forsage, it uses 3x1 and 2x2. Basically, you need to look for downlines who can fill in those positions for you to earn commissions.
I will not bore you with the detail of their compensation plan but if you’re interested, you can watch the video below:
Is Forsage A Scam?
I cannot directly suggest that Forsage is a scam but depending on how the website and the compensation structure are made, I would say that it’s not worth your time.
Ignore this platform even if your colleague or the people you know or someone from the internet says that have been paid massive amounts by this platform. That’s the thing with pyramid schemes and scams, they will let you earn for a few months so you will continuously put money in their system and recruit people.
But think about this, would you really join a program that’s not transparent with their owners or any of their executive members?
As an MLM company, this is quite odd as managers, CEOs, or even distributors often brag about their lifestyles and milestones all over social media. It may be too much at times but at least we know who the people are behind the brand.
As for Forsage, the only thing we know is that it has a Russian translation, so there’s a possibility that the website owner is from Russia. Based on Alexa, the traffic comes mostly from the US, India, and Venezuela.
But other than that, there’s nothing but a note that Forsage has no admin or manager.
This is a company, a website, and no person in the right mind will believe that it has no owner. It’s 2020 and it won’t just magically put up itself. Also, you are paying a certain amount or buying an Ethereum (ETH) and if no one manages the site, then who receives the payment?
Magic? More like a scam.
Price
To begin with Forsage, you have to buy 0.05 Ethereum, and based on walletinvestor.com, it’s around $12.
It’s a small amount to the risk and most people might not have a problem with this. But the question is, do you really want to promote companies based on deception?

Pros/Cons
PROS
No pros about the website so I’ll happily discuss the cons of the program instead.
CONS
Transparency Issue
As mentioned above, Forsage failed to disclose the owners of the program. It points out that it has no managers or admins but who would believe that?
If my interpretation is right, the reason why they say this is to protect themselves for their own interest. In case someone complained about their system or it’s finally declared a scam, it won’t be easy to track them down.
Imagine, the only contact details they provide is their email address: [email protected]. If anything happens, do you really think they would bother to reply?
More Like A Pyramid Scheme
The Federal Trade Commissions (FTC) describes pyramid schemes as a program that claims to provide investors or members a massive commission in exchange for recruiting people to join the platform.
Unlike legit programs that will compensate you for selling their products or services, pyramid schemes focus only on recruitment because obviously, that’s how they are going to make more money.
Also, the independent government agency suggests that the sales happen between the members inside the pyramid scheme or to newly invited people.
No Other Source Of Income
If you want to earn with Forsage, the only way is to recruit people. So what if you can’t invite anyone? That means your invested capital is gone.
Meanwhile, even if recruiting is easy for you and you're earning now, considering that their compensation plan is not stable, it won’t be a surprise if one day, your hard-earned cash will disappear in a snap.
Resembling a pyramid structure, there’s a chance that Forsage will be shut down anytime.

Final Opinion/Verdict
Forsage is a new platform and there’s a huge chance for you to get invited. Now that you know how it works, would you still go?
There are too many pretty obvious red flags, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t want to waste time and money. No details about the owner, no contact information other than the email, no other source of income other than recruiting people.
