Quick Summary: XanGo is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company in the health and wellness niche. It sells and markets its flagship product which is the XanGo juice which is derived from the juice of mangosteen and of other fruits, along with other products.
Being a company running on a networking scheme, it is just like most MLM opportunities where you can earn money through retail sales and recruitment commissions. The company is currently owned by Zija International.
Overall Rating: 1/10

For that, I salute you for doing the extra mile to be informed. It helps a lot to know more about the company first before diving into the opportunity. After all, having attractive incentives and commissions doesn’t always suggest a good income. Sometimes, it’s otherwise.
Also, finding more about the MLM company or other so-called money-making opportunities can help you avoid scams.
So without further ado, let’s talk about Xango in this review.
What Is Xango About?
XanGo’s company name was derived from xanthones and mangosteen which are both powerful antioxidants. It had been a multi-level marketing (MLM) company since 2002 and was privately owned and based in Lehi, Utah.
The brand sells and markets products in the health and wellness niche in which XanGo juice is their flagship product. They as well sold and marketed skincare, personal care, energy supplement, and nutritional supplement products.
These are the person behind XanGo’s establishment, the following founders/ executives: Gary Hollister (Founder, Chairman Emeritus, former Chief Executive, former Chairman of the Board), Aaron Garrity ( Founder, Chairman of the Board, CEO, former President), Joe Morton (Founder, Board of Directors), Gordon Morton (Founder, Board of Directors) and Kent Wood (Founder, Board of Directors).
The company was warned in 2006 by the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) for illegally marketing more than 20 human health benefits for Xango juice.
But in May 2017, XanGo is said to be acquired by Zija International which was also an established MLM company that markets as well as health and wellness products.
Xango Product Line
As mentioned above, XanGo’s products are Xango juices and as well as products for skincare, personal care, energy supplement, and nutritional supplements.
- Eleviv
- XanGo 3SIXTY5
- XanGo Meal Pack
- Mangosteen Pericarp Oil
- Juni by XanGo
- Glimpse Skin Care product line
Their flagship product, XanGo juices, as mentioned is made of mangosteen juice and other fruit juices. Here’s the breakdown of its components:
- mangosteen 15%
- apple 14%
- pear 13%
- grape 12%
- pear 11%
- blueberry 9%
- raspberry 8%
- strawberry 7%
- cranberry 6%
- cherry 5%
TOTAL 100%
Do The Products Work?
Though warned by the FDA in 2006 and though not Better Bureau Business (BBB) accredited, this brand has been marketed and sold since 2002. They would not probably be operating for long if their products don't work.
Here are some product reviews I’ve found, there were negative reviews but most were positive. See for yourself and be the judge.
As mentioned above, the original company was acquired by a new MLM company, Zija. The brand name maintained the name XanGo though.
At the time of this writing, no other XanGo products are being marketed and sold online other than the XanGo juices.
How To Make Money With XanGo?
In the past, the cost to begin your XanGo business as an Independent Distributor was $35 per year. After enrolling, you will receive a Distributor Kit with all of the business and sales supplies, tools and materials that you will need to achieve a fast start in your new home business. It is important to note that this is the minimum price of being a Distributor.
To qualify for the full benefits and earning potential within the XanGo Compensation Plan, you will need to enroll in their Automatic Delivery Program (Autoships). This program will automatically ship products to your front door every month, and bill your credit card for these products.
Xango Compensation Plan
As a fully qualified XanGo Distributor, you will earn money through:
- Retail Sales
- Powerstart Commissions
- Unilevel Commissions
- Bonus Pools
But since the company is now owned by Zija international, most probably the MLM opportunity XanGo offers is now void. So if you want to sell XanGo products, you should join the MLM opportunity Zija offers and joining Zija will cost you $41.90 for the membership fee plus the Distributor Kits that will range from $330 to $1320.

Is Xango A Scam?
The brand of XanGo is legitimate and is a well-established product that has been marketed and sold since 2002. The XanGo juices are even now still out on the market for the purchase and can also be seen on Amazon.
But if someone approaches you to be a XanGo distributor and offers an MLM opportunity, that’s most probably illegitimate since the company is already owned by another MLM company, Zija since the year 2017 and that company has a different compensation plan as well.
So if that’s a XanGo alone MLM opportunity, that’s most probably a scam.
Price
To become a member, you have to pay for the distributor membership fee worth $35 plus autoships, which are products that are automatically shipped to you on a monthly basis.

Pros/Cons
PROS
Established Product
There’s not much too like about this company but product-wise, I can commend their product, especially their flagship product, XanGo juice that has been already established in the past 18 years and is still now bought by consumers.
Indeed it has found its place in the market. The idea of a healthy juice drink is also enticing, especially for health and wellness enthusiasts.
CONS
Xango Is Already Phased Out
As mentioned above, in May 2017, XanGo has been acquired by Zija International, which is also an established MLM company that markets health and wellness products.
The brand of XanGo is legitimate and is a well established product that has been marketed and sold since 2002. The XanGo juices are even now still out on the market for purchasing and can also be seen on Amazon.
But if someone approaches you to be a XanGo distributor and offers an MLM opportunity, that’s most probably illegitimate since the company is already owned by Zija since 2017.
So if that’s a XanGo alone MLM opportunity, that’s most probably a scam. But if you want to sell XanGo juices, you can opt to join Zija’s MLM opportunity.
Costly
Being a legit MLM opportunity before, I could say that joining XanGo is costly, though the distributor membership fee is just $35, having autoships monthly will really cost you quite a lot of money which for me is impractical.
Typical Health and Wellness MLM
Just like any other MLM opportunities, instead of focusing on the progress of sales and customer satisfaction, XanGo MLM opportunity before is also encouraging a focus on recruitment.
And with a lot of competition in the health and wellness niche, it would be quite a challenge to market their products since there are a lot of well-known companies selling the same line of products.
Bad Records
The reason why most probably the original XanGo company fell and was acquired by another company was because of its bad records. Before being transferred to the ownership of Zija, XanGo faced quite a number of shakings including lawsuits and taxation issues.
The company was also warned in 2006 by the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) for illegally marketing more than 20 human health benefits for Xango juice.
Tired of Wasting Time on Low Quality Programs?
I'm so grateful that I was able to find THIS PROGRAM which helped me to finally start making money online!
Who Is It For?
I recommend NO ONE to join this multi-level marketing company.
But being objective, it was most probably intended for those who are into sales and networking. It is also for those who are health and wellness enthusiasts, especially those who are fond of healthy drinks, mangosteen and fruit juices.
Training Tools/Support
Being enrolled as a XanGo distributor before, you will receive a Distributor Kit with all of the business and sales supplies, tools and materials that you will need to achieve a fast start in your new home business.
Final Opinion/Verdict
Overall, I would not recommend joining this MLM business venture. Product-wise, XanGo is legit and I would even as well try and buy their juices. These products have been on the market since 2002.
But as an MLM opportunity, it is most probably a fraud since the company is already owned by another MLM company named Zija International, and XanGo juices are now only a part of their product line. That being said, Xango is not existent anymore.
And even if its MLM opportunity still exists, I would still not recommend it.
Why?
The company has bad records including having lawsuits and taxation issues. So if I were you, I better not waste my time, money and effort and skip this platform immediately.
