Is Zynn A Scam? Get Paid Watching “TikTok” Videos?

Other than Instagram, another content-sharing app that seems to take people by storm is TikTok, and it’s not surprising why. This Chinese social network service is easy and fun to use. All you have to do is create a short clip of you dancing, singing, or basically whatever activity you want to do within 15 to 60 seconds, and you can share it to the world.

Like other social media accounts, the more interesting it is, the more likes and comments you’ll get. If you don’t want to record yourself, you can simply create an account and watch videos. From my personal experience, it’s one fun way to kill some time.

I could spend an hour or more watching clips and if someone will pay me to do this, I might be rich now. 

Kidding aside, did you know that there’s a platform claiming to help you make money just by watching TikTok videos? Apparently, a mobile app called Zynn provides a “Fun way to reward yourself.”

Like the video-sharing app, it’s also becoming popular but before you get your hands on this app, be sure to read the entire Zynn review first to know if it’s really worth your time (and your phone’s storage).

Like the Chinese app, it lets you edit the video by adding texts, music, effects to make your clips more interesting. It also lets you share your content on Facebook and other social media apps.

It also pays you if you can refer people to download the app and create an account.

Zynn is relatively new, being founded in 2017 in California, under Owlii Inc.

How Does Zynn Work?

As mentioned, you can download Zynn on your Android or iOS device and create an account. This requires basic details, such as your name, date of birth, phone number, and username.

After signing up, you have to copy the code provided so you can earn a $1 bonus.

You will also get a verification code sent to the mobile number provided. Next, you can either click “Invite” to invite your friends or “Go” to proceed.

You can also sign up on their website or by scanning the QR code.

How To Make Money With Zynn?

Unlike other reward apps, you can earn real cash on Zynn and you need to have a PayPal account to redeem your money. Upon signing up, you’ll earn a dollar.

The main way to earn is by watching videos of various users and you can make around 40 to 70 points for watching a 20-second clip. There’s also this “meter” that you will fill up just by watching clips and if you’ve filled it up 6 times, you’ll earn a bonus worth of 300 to 400 points.

To earn $1, you need to obtain 10,000 points, which sounds a lot but according to one user, “you’d be surprised how fast they add up.”

The other option is to invite people to do the same. The amount you can earn is pretty decent; for instance, you’ll get $ per referral and $10 for every five friends or family referred. You’ll also get $2 per invite if they keep their account active.

You can also exchange your points to gift cards and they have partnered with a few retailers, such as Taco Bell, Walmart, and Target.

As of now, the app is only available in the US.

Take note that they have to sign up and verify their account to be eligible for the bonus.

Based on the reviews online, the app is legit and they did make money out of it. There are a few complaints but as of now, the positive feedback outweighed the negative ones.

Meanwhile, a YouTuber called Tech Hustler has also shared a review about Zynn and while it’s glitchy, he was able to cash out $50 to his Paypal account.

Not bad for doing something fun.

A piece of advice though: the app is relatively new and there are sources claiming that it’s stealing people’s content and info that’s why it’s been removed from the App Store. 

Therefore, it’s best to read as much reviews first before joining this seemingly good platform.

Make Money On Your Free Time

There are users claiming that they did make money just by watching videos on Zynn app and some of which you can find on YouTube. Considering this, it might be a good option if you want to make money in your free time. 

If you haven’t seen TikTok yet, it’s quite addicting to watch video clips and if Zynn’s claims are true, then this is one fun way to earn cash.

CONS

Issue About Stolen Content And User’s Information

While this has not been verified yet, I won’t have second thoughts about NOT downloading the app. 

As they say, “when there’s smoke, there’s fire.” Perhaps, there’s a reason why this issue has been started so I won’t take a risk anymore. 

Imagine creating content for hours or even days only to be stolen by someone else. And, if that’s not bad enough, how about your private details being used by another individual for their personal interest. 

No Cash-Out?

Some reviews suggest that Zynn has removed the cash out option now and instead, you can convert your points to gift cards. 

It’s still good for me because you can use it to purchase items or food from their partner retailers but if you’re looking for something that can help you save money or pay your rent, then this is not an option. 

This is for individuals living in the US who are at least 13 years old and above. If you’re looking for a fun way to earn cash or gift cards from Target, Walmart, etc., you can consider the Zynn app. 

The app is pretty easy to use and it comes with short instructions on how to create an account, upload video, etc. 

They also have social media accounts, such as Facebook, which you can visit in case you have concerns or inquiries. 

Based on the reviews of the users ( I cannot download and try it personally because I don’t live in the US), the app is legit and it does offer ways on how to make money online. 

You can watch videos and create content, you can refer friends and families to download the app and make sure they stay active for an additional bonus, and of course, by signing up alone. 

It’s only available in the US so if you’re looking for an extra source of income and if you’re not from the United States, then you can look for other options.

Also, while the reviews are mostly positive, we must not ignore the alarming issues that the app has been involved with, such as stolen content and personal information. Zynn has been removed from the app store and while it’s still running for some, it might be good to think really hard if you’re willing to take the risks. 

Lastly, the amount you can earn from this is not enough to sustain a lifestyle, especially if you have a family so it’s best to use it only as an additional income.
