Maybe you’ve been invited by a friend to join the program or you’ve encountered the company when looking for a legit money-making opportunity online. Whatever the case is, it’s best to learn as much as you can about the company, and I’ll help you with this.

In this post, you’ll learn what this multi-level marketing company is about, if Max International is a scam or not, its pros and cons, and why most of its distributors are in debt. Yes, you read it right!

Known as “The Glutathione Company”, Max International is known for selling products that include Glutathione as its core ingredient. Aside from promoting their essentials, they also provide business opportunities to people who want to make money. As an MLM, you can earn by selling their products and inviting new people to join the platform -- and that I’ll discuss more in a bit. For now, let’s talk about the company.

Company Background

Founded in 2007 by Steven K. Scott, Fred Ninow, and Gregory Fullerton, the company is focused on producing products with glutathione. In fact, they’re known for being a leader in developing and distributing the said antioxidant. 

In 2010, Ninow left the company to launch another MLM brand -- Ocean Avenue. The same thing happened with Fullerton; he left Max International and co-founded another health and wellness networking company called Savi Health.

Scott, the only founder left with the company, is a known figure in television marketing. He co-founded American telecast and was recognized by Direct Response Television as “one of the 25 most influential people”.

Product Line

Max International is centered on producing scientifically-proven supplements that help in losing weight and improving the appearance of skin. But before we tackle their products, let’s talk about Glutathione first.

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant known for whitening the skin but other than that, it’s packed with more benefits. Basically, our body naturally produces glutathione; however, it decreases due to several factors, such as stress, toxins, and poor diet.

Taking glutathione orally, intravenously, or topically can improve the appearance of skin and psoriasis, detoxify the body, reduce stress and cell damage in fatty liver, and reduce respiratory disease symptoms.

Many brands are promoting their own gluta-based products but what makes Max International unique is that they have their own medical professionals who handle the research and development of their supplements. 

Max International’s supplements are divided into two categories -- Nutritional and Weight Management. Their flagship product is Max GXL -- a food supplement that helps the body produce and support glutathione-production.

Other than the supplements, they also offer skincare products, energy-boosting drink, and weight loss programs, such as:

• Max One
• Meta Switch
• Visible Solutions
• Cellgevity

How To Make Money With Max International

As mentioned above, there are two basic ways to earn an income using this program, such as by:

• Selling Their Products

You make money by purchasing their items on a discounted rate so you can sell them on a retail price. The difference between the retail price and the discounted rate is your profit

• Inviting People

You don’t earn direct commissions just by referring people (otherwise it’s a pyramid scheme) rather by achieving milestones and quotas. By doing so, you can earn incentives and bonuses.

Is Max International legit? Yes!

Is Max International worth it? Now, that’s another issue!

Max International is not a scam and while it’s not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), it’s received an A+ rating.

However, there are a few points -- OR RED FLAGS -- that I’d love to discuss before you sign up for this program (or not!)

Lawsuits Against The Company

Max International has received two legal actions against them. One is from Tripharma and the other one is from Melaleuca.

Apparently, Max International has “falsely marketed, advertised, and labeled” one of their products called MaxWLX. Meanwhile, Melaleuca accused Max International of encouraging their employees to breach contracts.

Just like other MLM companies, you need to pay an enrollment fee to become a member. For Max International, the one-time signup fee costs $49 and it already includes the Max Starter Kit.

The Max Starter Kit comes with a welcome brochure, sales materials, and a USB that will help you set up your business.

Apart from the enrollment fee, you’ll pay $25 every year to keep your account and virtual office active. In addition, you need to buy any of their Enrollment Packs, ranging from $150 to $999, so you have products to sell.

But wait, there’s more!

You also need to have at least 100 Personal Volume (PV) every month so you’ll be qualified for their commissions. 

Asking Associates To Purchase As Much Products As They Can

This week, I’ve reviewed an MLM company named TruVision Health -- and it’s also under the health and wellness niche. One thing I like about it is that you can only purchase the products you need. However, this is not the case with Max International. Rather than letting you choose what you want to buy, you will be required to purchase as many products as you can. 

This is an old strategy used by most MLMs and it’s something that you want to avoid at all cost. This will cost you a lot and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to sell all of these in the soonest possible time.

Income Disclosure Statement -- Failed!

While it’s a good sign that they disclosing their income statement (as some companies don’t), it’s still alarming to see that most of their associates are not earning enough. In the photo above, most of their distributors are under the rank of Associate to Silver and the average annual income for Associate is $227.02. Meaning, they only earn less than $20 a month. Meanwhile, the average annual income for the Silver rank is $4,085, which means that they only earn $340.40 a month.

Better Solution?

Imagine investing a lot of money only to see it go down the drain. I know, that hurts a lot! Even if you put enough effort inviting people and selling overpriced products, the income potential when you join Max International is low so if I were you, I’d start my own business online FOR FREE! PROS

Scientifically-Proven Products

Product-wise, Max International has an edge over its competitors because of its clinically-proven products. Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, has a lot of benefits to offer in the human body.

Valuable Training

Like other MLM companies, Max International offers training programs for their Associates to improve their product knowledge and marketing skills. The 90-Day Training Program is a valuable training resource associates can use to gain more sales.

CONS

Low Income Potential

Considering the income disclosure statement above, I don’t see Max International as a good investment. Unless you’re confident that you can sell their products and convince as many people as you can to join your team, then it’s best to consider other options instead.

Hidden Prices

On their website, you’ll see a list of their products but the prices are not stated. You have to log in or become a new member before doing so. Why do you need to become a member first? Are they hiding something? Why are they not showing their prices? 

Legal Actions Against Them

MLM businesses, alone, is complicated, especially for beginners. The fact that you have to sell expensive products plus bother the people you know to join the program is already an issue, what more if there are legal actions against it. Is this really the program you want to make money with?

While I cannot recommend Max International to anyone, you may consider this if you’re into network marketing or you want to promote Glutathione-based products.

90-Day Training Program is a 14-module training resource provided to their associates to enhance their skills and knowledge on running a business. They also offer product guides and sales materials for more support.

Max International is legit and the products they promote are effective; however, the fact that they received lawsuits is more than enough to make me think twice. Also, the income disclosure statement is not appealing so if I were you, I’d rather invest my time and money on something else… something that would give me what I deserve.

I don’t know about you but for me, joining an MLM program is a daunting task. You’re not only focused on marketing your products but you also have to form your team. And, in case you’re lucky to have a downline, you have to train them so they can help achieve milestones. Exhausting, right?

So I chose a better, if not the best option.

This top-recommended program is the number one choice of many internet marketers and individuals who want to make money online. It’s a perfect alternative if you want to promote products or start your own business and have the following tools, too:
