Is Navan Global A Scam? Legit CBD Company Or A Pyramid Scheme?
Welcome to My Navan Global Review!
Cannabidiol, or what is known more as CBD, is the medicinal part of Cannabis (Marijuana). Though not legalized in other countries, the popularity of such products infused with this substance is also growing.
It’s in-demand and many companies have been promoting such products for quite some time now. In fact, we’ve reviewed similar programs in the past, such as BioReigns, Touchstone Essentials, and Green Compass Global.
Navan Global Review Summary
Name: Navan Global
Website: www.navanglobal.com
Founders: Trey Knight
Product Type: Multi-Level Marketing
Price: $299.95 To $999.95 For The Business Kits
Quick Summary: Navan Global is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company in the CBD (Cannabidiol) industry. It may have positive sides that set them quite on the edge among others.
However, like typical MLM companies, it’s expensive and you need to recruit people to earn commissions. It’s also not totally transparent as it doesn’t provide information about who runs or owns the company.
Overall Rating: 3/10

While such brands are limited to some countries only, we can’t deny the fact that there’s potential in growing this business but before you dive into such programs, it’s best to do a background check first to know what to expect.
In this post, we will talk about a brand called Navan Global -- a CBD program that follows an MLM structure. Is it legit or a scam? How much money can you make from this platform? Is it worth your time or not?
All these and more questions answered in this honest Navan Global review!
What is Navan Global About?
Navan Global is an ecommerce multi-level marketing (MLM) company that markets products that are mainly CBD-based.
According to the “About Us” section found on their website, Navan Global owners are former MLM distributors; however, there were no specific names mentioned. Apparently, they’ve been in the MLM scene for as long as 12 years but it’s a wonder why they chose to not disclose their names.
Meanwhile, according to a press release in October 2019, Trey Knight was Navan Global’s founder and CEO.
Trey Knight had been infamous as he was involved in the Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing pyramid scheme and even found himself in a civil lawsuit charged against the company.
Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (FTHM) is an MLM company that sells consumer goods and services. It eventually shut down in 2013 as it was proved to be a pyramid scheme by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) but before that took place, Trey Knight bailed and he then joined a health and wellness MLM, Limu in 2011.
After that, Knight ventured into Sozo Global which is also a health and wellness MLM. He served as President which only lasted until 2016 as Sozo Global collapsed and was acquired by Youngevity later that year.
There might have been a career hiatus for Knight from 2016 to 2019, which probably brought to Navan Global’s launch. However, if you would check on the website domain, it was created in 2018 and is based in Arizona, USA, yet Knight was only referred to as the CEO and founder in a company blog post dated in April 2020.
As to why executive information isn’t transparent on their website is still unclear. Taking into consideration that in their “About Us” section, they refer to “we”, which is a collective tense, so this suggests that Knight is not really working alone and there might have been other co-founders but we are still not sure.

Is Navan Global A Scam?
Navan Global appears to be a legitimate MLM company and it’s not a scam. It's a legit business with real products. However, there are just some issues with its transparency as they are not honest, especially with regards to who really founded the company.
It’s still not clear and it’s quite puzzling if Trey Knight is the sole owner or if who works with him.
Plus, Knight’s history with other MLMs is not appealing as he has been even involved in a pyramid scheme which was eventually shut down.
Is Navan Global a Pyramid Scheme/Ponzi Scheme
Not all MLMs are pyramid schemes and there are still quite a handful legit ones. Well, regardless of the cited Navan Global’s owner’s past bad records with MLMs, I personally think that Navan Global is not a Ponzi Scheme.
Navan Global offers a legit opportunity where you could sell tangible products and earn quite a decent compensation from it. And just like most typical MLMs, you can earn through retail sales and you’ll also earn from recruitment.
Many MLM's will enforce a monthly quota for sales, so members would opt to buy a lot of products but Navan Global doesn't go that way. Unlike other MLMs where most product sales come from distributors and not from retail customers.
Navan Global Compensation Plan
Basically, just like most MLMs, you’ll earn through retail sales and recruitment commissions with rank-tied residual commissions.

How Much to Join Navan Global?
Navan Global affiliate membership will cost you between $299.95 to $999.95.
To officially join as a distributor, you’ll have to purchase from the following packs:
- Starter Pack – $299.95
- Business Builder Pack – $499.95
- Ultimate Builder – $999.95
The main difference between the three packs is the bundled Navan Global products included.
Pros/Cons
PROS
No Monthly Purchase Requirement
It’s a good thing that there’s no auto shipment in Navan Global as compared to most MLM that requires distributors to buy products monthly.
Good Profit Margin
Distributors in Navan Global gains 20% retail sales commission. And a 20% profit margin is considered high or “good”.
CONS
No BBB
Though Navan Global has been running probably for almost 4 years, it still doesn’t have a Better Bureau Business (BBB) profile or accreditation, which is quite a disappointment because having such accreditations would somehow support their legitimacy.
Transparency Issues
Navan Global is not totally transparent as it doesn’t provide information about who runs or owns the company. Though they have mentioned Trey Knight as the CEO and Founder later in a blog post, it’s still not clear and it’s still wondering if he alone is the sole owner or if he works with other co-founders.
Why do they not establish pertinent information with regards to this? Are they hiding something? Yes, it’s a legit opportunity but having transparency issues can be a red flag.
Cited Founder’s Bad Record
Also, another red flag is Trey Knight’s bad past with other MLMs he had been associated with, one of which was permanently closed by the FTC, charged as a pyramid scheme and also another one which also collapsed and was acquired by another company. It’s not to disdain him but with such bad records, would you entrust your future income with his lead?
Expensive
Yes, it’s legit but the bundle packs you would purchase as a distributor would even cost you up to $999.95 which is nearly a thousand dollars. And also, compared to other CBD products you could buy in the market, their products are quite expensive. So it will also be hard to sell such, taking into consideration that it’s also a saturated market.
Emphasis On Recruitment
The sales profit margin is good but you’d still opt to recruit people to join the program to advance in ranks and gain bigger profits because indeed in Navan Global, how much you make depends on the rank you're at. So, just like most MLMs, you’ll still have to RECRUIT if you want to gain more money.
Tired of Wasting Time on Low Quality Programs?
I'm so grateful that I was able to find THIS PROGRAM which helped me to finally start making money online!
Training Tools/Support
There are no details about training and support. But probably, just like most MLMs, as a distributor/member in Navan Global, you’ll gain access to the back office, as well as materials and resources needed for the business. And also a blog is posted on their website to update members regularly.
Final Opinion/Verdict
Navan Global may be a legit MLM company that offers a legit business with real products. However, the CBD niche is a challenging one, plus Navan Global’s membership is also expensive and it’s CBD products are more costly with others compared in the market.
That being said, it’ll be hard to market, especially knowing that most states and countries still don’t legalize CBD.
Though the retail sales profit margin is good in Navan Global, you’ll be forced to recruit people to gain a bigger income.
Another drawback, which for me is a red flag, is that it’s not transparent about its founder and his bad records.
Considering all these, I don’t recommend Navan Global at all.
