While the business model is legit, it’s not always the best option when you want to make a decent amount of cash online. It’s time-consuming and the income you’ll get is not even worth it.

The main goal of the platform is to gather opinions from various people through surveys to help brands learn about the current trends and behaviors of their target market or customers.

How Springboard America Works?

It’s like typical survey websites, such as Opinion Outpost, Point Club Surveys, and Opinion City where you answer questionnaires from various media, non-profit organizations, companies, or even government agencies. It normally lasts for around 10 to 20 minutes and at the time of this writing, is available only to those who live in the US and are at least 14 years old and above.

Springboard America is available on desktop or you can also answer surveys using your tablet or mobile phone for convenience. What makes this brand different from similar programs is that it lets you start answering a questionnaire on a desktop and complete it on your mobile device.

Let’s say your laptop runs out of battery or you have a sudden errand, you can still continue accomplishing the survey on your smartphone without downloading an app.

To begin, all you have to do is create an account but mind you, you have to share private information about yourself so if you’re kind of skeptical about privacy, this might be uncomfortable for you. 

However, this is usual for most survey websites as this lets them determine if you’re the right demographic for a certain survey or not. 

Other than your birthday and location, you will also be asked about your gender, buying habits, profession, etc.

At the time of this writing, Springboard America is not yet accepting new members; however, they are open for recruitment so more or less, you will just receive an email in case someone refers you to their platform.

How To Make Money With Springboard America?

Like typical survey websites, you can earn cash when you participate in their surveys, whether it’s a desktop or mobile survey, and when you join their online focus groups.

For every completed survey, you’ll earn around $.05 to $5 or 50 to 500 points. Again, every survey takes 10 to 20 minutes to complete.

Upon signing up, you will also receive an entry for their $1,000 Grand Prize Draw. Take note: this is just an entry and this does not guarantee anything. Imagine how many people are interested in this program so be sure to not expect a lot from it.

Anyway, other than cash, you can get retail e-vouchers, Amazon and iTunes gift cards, sweepstake entries, or Google Play credits. You can also donate your earnings to charities.

For you to be able to request for a reward, you should have at least $50 in your account, which is equivalent to $5,000 points. Normally, it takes 7 days for your reward to arrive in your email.

Let’s say you’re lucky enough to get paid 500 points per survey, that means you have to take 10 surveys to claim your rewards. 

I know this sounds easy but it’s not the reality in participating in questionnaires. Often, you need to spend a lot of time before you can earn a thousand points and because every company requires a certain demographic, you should not expect more than 2 surveys a month.

According to our source, members get around 1 to 4 (if lucky enough) surveys every month. So to get $50, you’ll have to wait for 2 to 3 months answering surveys.

When it comes to legitimacy, Maru Springboard America is a legit marketing research company that provides a small profit for users online. It has a record with the Better Business Bureau (BBB); however, it’s not accredited.

Worse, it has an F rating and tons of complaints online. Therefore, despite being legit, I won’t recommend this to anyone.

According to some users, getting rewards takes a long time; one user even claimed that it took a year to get paid. Imagine how many minutes you need to spend on one survey only to earn a few dollars that you can claim after several months.

Meanwhile, some users claim that they don’t get any surveys at all. So, don’t expect this platform to help you pay for your expenses, let alone as a side hustle.

It’s barely enough and a complete waste of time.

If you’re looking for a legit source of cash online, there are better options. 

For instance, you can start selling items on your Facebook or Instagram account or turn it into an eCommerce business using platforms, such as Shopify.

You can also offer your skills, such as content writing or social media management, or apply for online jobs.

Or if you want more free time and a decent amount of cash (plus a chance to turn this side hustle into a passive source of income), you can try affiliate marketing.

There’s no need to pay for anything but when you think of it, it’s a waste of time so despite being free, I won’t recommend this to anyone.

Poor Reviews. Low Income Potential

It’s usual for online surveys to receive poor remarks; however, I’ve seen similar platforms that offer a fair opportunity to its members. With Springboard America, this is not the case.

The profit you’ll earn every month is extremely low and the same goes for the number of surveys you can get.

Imagine the amount of effort you need only to earn less than a dollar.

I can’t even think of Springboard America as a side hustle; it’s more like a charity you can do for your brands or government bodies to help them improve their products and/or services.

Not for anyone.
