Requirements For Scribie Transcribers

While Scribie is a good opportunity and is available worldwide, the audio transcribing companies have a few requirements before you can earn money from them. First is your ability to comprehend English, which is obvious since you’ll be transcribing a conversation in English.

Like other online jobs, you need a laptop/desktop, stable Internet connection, a headphone, and the most updated version of any of these web browsers: Google, Firefox, and Safari. If you’re a beginner, it will be pretty challenging because of the audio quality, the accent, etc., but as time passes by, according to some reviews, it will be easier. I believe you need to pack yourself with patience and determination to succeed in this home-based opportunity. After all, Scribie offers bonuses for good performance. Some transcribers also said that you need to type really quick otherwise, Scribie won’t work for you. There are also complaints about not getting paid after completing a task all because of the poor audio quality -- which I believe is not the fault of the transcriber at all.

That means that there’s no need to pay for anything; however, if you don’t have the basic tools you need for transcribing -- such as a desktop/laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a high-quality headset/headphone -- that means you have to buy it.

If you’re looking for a day job or have been working online for quite some time now, you may notice the low pay that Scribie offers. They based on the audio hours you have worked with rather than the actual time you’ve spent. Even if Scribie has promoted you, the amount you’ll get is not as high as the ones you can get on other legit online opportunities.

Limited Audio Files To Transcribe

According to some transcribers, there will be times when there are no audio files left to transcribe and for me, that means one thing -- the earning is not stable. If you’re looking for a better option to make money online, then you can try other legit platforms than waste your time transcribing here.

Scribie does not provide any training but your job is straightforward. You just need to listen carefully and be able to transcribe effectively. However, if you want to improve your transcribing skills, you can always check the world wide web for free training materials.

Overall, I think Scribie is still a good site unless you’re looking for bigger pay. I think you can combine it with your regular job if you want to earn extra cash. After all, it’s legit and for me, every dollar still counts. If you’re good at English and typing, you can take advantage of the job opportunity they offer and spend your free time lucratively.
