What Is Emailconomy About?
Emailconomy is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company that endorses a unique system where the company markets its Emailconomy affiliate membership through direct mailing and email marketing, thus the name.
It was founded and owned by Angel “Michelangelo” Lopez in Pebble Creek Drive Tampa Florida, USA. But other than this information, there are no other details found on their website.
Email economy’s owner, Angel “Michelangelo” Lopez was renown and very controversial over the internet and in the MLM scene. He even claimed in his LinkedIn profile that he has been one of the top Internet Marketers for the past 13 years, being number 1 in multiple business opportunities.
In his LinkedIn account, he claimed that he’s the owner of Big Home Business but when I checked the site, it was inaccessible.
Unfortunately, I found out that he’s rather popular for having bad records. In 2014, he launched Empower Network It’s an MLM company that sells internet marketing tools and training, including a blogging platform and a line of digital products. Sadly, it shut down in 2017.
Apart from Emailconomy, Angel “Michelangelo” Lopez also appears to have been promoting Valentus, another company with bad feedback.
Emailconomy Product Line
Emailconomy provides an income opportunity by sending emails. No tangible products or services to sell or market, just emails sent through spam or direct mails to potential leads, directing to invite them to join the platform.
How To Join And Earn Money With Emailconomy?
You start by clicking “Get Your Free Access Here” sent to you through email or by going to Emailconomy’s REGISTER tab. You will then be asked to sign up and provide details such as User Name, First Name, Last Name, Country, Phone/Mobile, Email, and Password for Emailconomy.
After accomplishing the form, you will be redirected to a webinar done by the company’s owner Angel “Michelangelo” Lopez, where you can get an overview of how things will work in the business.
Then you will choose one from the three membership levels and pay for a one-time fee that ranges from $500-$2500.
These are the following levels, price, the commission that can be earned and as well as the inclusive:
- Inner Circle Level ($500) - You earn $200 from every personal sale and $100 from every “TEAM” sale. This level includes the Inner Circle virtual DVD video training course, back office access to your Customer relationship management (CRM).
- Diamond Level ($1000) - You earn $400 from every personal sale and $200 from every “TEAM” sale. This level includes the Diamond level Emailconomy membership level training videos access, Inner Circle virtual DVD video training course, back office access to your Customer relationship management (CRM), webinar replays and your scheduled lead appointments are called and closed.
- Master Level ($2500) - You earn $1000 from every personal sale and $500 from every “TEAM” sale. This level includes the Inner Circle and Diamond level membership level and access to the Elite Master Level platform including live webinars, webinar replays, and advanced Direct Response training videos. It also includes a special appointment system for 30 minutes of consultation and help.

How Does It Work?
The company claims that all you need to do is allocate 7 hours of work in a week sending emails on your list.
The content of the email is about marketing Emailconomy. Aside from selling the platform, you also need to recruit people and encourage them to purchase membership levels so you can gain commissions.
The more you pay as an Emailconomy affiliate in membership fees and the more you recruit people to join, the higher the income potential.
Emailconony sounds like an affiliate marketing because of the promotion going on but for me, it works almost like a scam.
Affiliate marketing is a legit business model, by the way, and all you need to earn commissions is to promote products on your website or social media. What makes it better than Emailconomy is that most affiliate marketing platforms won’t require a membership fee. You can join the program for free while getting the tools you need to get started, just like with Wealthy Affiliate.
Is Emailconomy A Scam?
I can’t directly tell that Emailconomy is a SCAM but it’s definitely the type of program that I would ignore.
There are a lot of red flags in this MLM company and one of which is the absence of tangible product being sold. Yes, there are network marketing companies that promote services, such as coaching but it’s far from how Emailconomy works.
The owner, Lopez was even coined as a FRAUD. They don’t have any other details with regards to when or how the company was founded, an Income Disclosure statement, or a Better Bureau Business Profile that proves its legitimacy. And with the negative reviews, I found this program very alarming.
Price
Registering in Emailconomy, you will opt to purchase one from the following membership levels:
- Inner Circle Level: ($500)
- Diamond Level: ($1000)
- Master Level: ($2500)
And you also need to buy their letters and packages for direct mailing.

Pros/Cons
Honestly, there’s nothing to like about Emailconomy so I’d rather discuss its drawbacks.
CONS
Emphasis On Recruitment
This MLM company is focused on recruitment and payment. The more you pay as an Emailconomy affiliate in membership fees and the more you recruit people to join, the higher the income potential.
Founder’s Bad Records
The owner, Angel “Michelangelo” Lopez has complaints online and was accused of being a thief and a fraud, claiming that he took their money and ran away.
With bad records such as scamming others, it will be hard to trust a company operated by an owner like him.
Like A Pyramid Scheme
We can’t entirely conclude that it's a pyramid scheme but let me present to you the guidelines of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or of any governing body with regards to a Pyramid Scheme.
- Too much focus on recruitment
- No physical product or service to market
- Income opportunity is reliant on recruitment, and not sales
As you can see, Emailconomy nailed all of the red flags similarly to a Pyramid Scheme but still we can’t conclude. So judge for yourself!
Coined To A Ponzi Scheme
A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors with funds from more recent investors. The scheme leads victims to believe that profits are coming from product sales or other means, and they remain unaware that other investors are the source of funds.
With no tangible products, it could be possible that Emailconomy operates on this model. Since the source of income is of course from recruitment which is from the Emailconomy Membership Fees.
They may entice people that monetization is through email marketing but the truth of the matter is that affiliates will earn through the membership fees of those who will also join under them.
Well, we can’t entirely conclude based on this assumption. But we can pretty much liken it to this scheme, right? What do you think? Be the judge!
Expensive To Join
Yes joining Emailconomy is pretty much costly, membership fees will even cost you $500 to $2500. Aiming to gain a higher commission, you will probably opt to purchase the higher-priced membership fee but still, $500 is already a big amount of money. And also you will have to pay the pricey letter costs. Now that’s quite a big money to invest in a business with not much evidence of success. Better back off now!
Awful Refund Policy
Yes, they do have a refund but what’s awful is that you only have 3 days to do so and what’s the mind-blowing twist is that you won’t be allowed to return as an affiliate in Emailconomy. Yes, you’d be banned for a lifetime.

Training Tools/Support
Emailconomy affiliate membership provides access to a variety of digital marketing materials.
There is no difference in terms of materials accessed for each level (Inner Circle Level, Diamond Level, Master Level), so basically each will have back office access, training courses, webinars and tutorials, and scheduled lead appointments.
Final Opinion/Verdict
Overall, I would NOT recommend you joining this MLM income opportunity.
For one, success can be hazy to a business with no tangible products. Second, it focuses only on recruitment. Third, it's costly to join in their affiliate program, you’ll probably just be wasting a big amount of money for nothing. With fewer chances of ROI!
Honestly, there’s nothing great about Emailconomy. I’ve read many reviews and feedback about the founder Angel Lopez and his programs, and with such bad records and complaints, I found it hard to trust everything he does and that includes the company he founded.
