If you’re one of those who are planning to increase their source of income, that’s definitely a good idea but be sure to consider a few things first. For instance, is it a legit program or not? Is it worth your time? How can you make money from the program?

The truth is, it’s easy to find a platform that will promise to help you earn cash but it’s not always as it sounds. Thus, it pays to do a background check before investing your time and/or money.

In this post, we will talk about KnowledgePanel, an online survey that claims to help you make money at home. We’ll talk about how it works, if it’s a scam or not, its pros and cons, and many more.

What Is KnowledgePanel About?

KnowledgePanel is a platform that lets people answer surveys and polls online. It’s almost the same as Survey Downline and OpinionCity; however, instead of the usual questions about your shopping or buying behavior, it asks feedback about relevant issues happening in the country.

It hasn’t disclosed the name of its founders but according to its website, it was founded in 1999 by two Stanford University professors.

KnowledgePanel is a part of Ipsos (as stated on their website), a well-known multinational market research company in the world. It was founded in 1975 by Didier Truchot and has been publicly listed on the Paris Stock Exchange.

How Does KnowledgePanel Work?

As mentioned above, it talks about relevant or important issues about the country, including entertainment, politics, economy, products, and more. Normally, online survey platforms will just ask about the usual products or brands you use at home, the amount you spend on your household, how often you shop for a particular item, etc.

what is knowledgepanel about

Meanwhile, KnowledgePanel seems to talk about something deeper.

However, it works the same as the other online survey platforms wherein you will talk about a certain topic for about 10 to 15 minutes. It’s a bit longer though and the goal of the questionnaire is to make a difference.

For every completed survey, you will earn 1,000 points and every 1,000 points are equivalent to $1.

As for the consistency of surveys, you will receive one survey a week and like other survey platforms, it depends on your demographics.

Let’s say you’re a family person who’s around 30 to 35 years old but the survey you received is intended for “Boomers.” That means you won’t be able to answer the survey because you’re not qualified and you’ll not earn anything from it.

How To Make Money With KnowledgePanel?

As mentioned above, you’ll be answering a 10 to 15-minute survey and for every completed session, you will earn 1,000 points.

You can exchange these points to gift cards, games, merchandise, or even cash. You can even use it to win sweepstakes.

According to their site, they will offer a one-time $19 reward for every member who will take an introductory survey with them. More rewards will be given to those who will remain with them.

They also claim to provide a tablet or laptop with a free internet connection so members can join even if they don’t have an internet connection at home.

Well, that sounds interesting but what’s the catch?

According to them, they do this “because we need to represent all households in our surveys.”

Does It Work?

Like usual survey platforms, it has more negative feedback than positive ones but the good thing about it is that even if there are good reviews, you’ll know that it’s legit and not done just for the sake of inviting new people to join the platform.

KnowledgePanel is exclusive and you can only join if you’ve been invited by the platform. This means that if you did not receive any invitation from them, you can not sign up or make money using the platform.

Anyways, here is some feedback about KnowledgePanel by its users:

Is KnowledgePanel A Scam?

Considering the companies that run and support it -- GFK and Ipsos -- we can say that KnowledgePanel is not a scam.

However, like other survey platforms, you should expect it to give you a decent source of income. Also, based on the reviews of some users, the company is not paying them despite completing the surveys.

This is nothing new when it comes to this kind of business model. I’ve reviewed over a dozen survey platforms, some of which were well-known, and the problems are the same -- the compensation is very low, the company does not pay them, or worse, some platforms will ask for cash and not give them anything in return.

As for KnowledgePanel, it’s legit but think of this: You earn a $10 bonus for signing up and completing the introductory survey and you receive a survey every week.

For every 10 to 15-minute completed survey, you will earn 1,000 points, which you can convert to $1. That means $4 a month. Again, this depends on your demographic. You might receive one or two surveys a week or none at all.

Even so, do you think this is enough for you to survive? I won’t even consider it as a good amount for a side hustle. If you have extra time and you want to make it lucrative, might as well invest it in an online business or my top-recommended program.

Price

Joining KnowledgePanel is free. You don’t have to pay for anything but then again, you have to receive an invitation to join. Otherwise, you’ll have to choose another program. You also need to be a citizen or resident of the US to be qualified.

To become a member, you will receive a code to your email and you will use it to register and create an account. Short registration will be conducted and you will receive $10 after you completed an initial survey.

If you're wondering how online surveys work, here's a quick video to watch:

Pros/Cons

PROS

Backed Up By Legit Brands

The only good thing about KnowledgePanel is that it’s backed up by well-known companies, such as GFK and Ipsos.

As mentioned, Ipsos is multinational market research that’s been traded publicly on the Paris Stock Exchange. GFK, on the other hand, is a German market research institute.

CONS

Low Income Potential

Imagine getting $4 a month. Is that enough to cover your bills? I bet it can’t even buy you dinner. It’s easy to fall for a program that claims to help you make money by just spending a few minutes of your time but often, it’s not what we’ve expected.

If you want to make a decent amount, whether, from a regular job or a side hustle, 15 minutes is not enough. Also, answering surveys or questionnaires is not the best option. This has been proven a lot of times. You can simply look at the reviews and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

By Invitation Only

You cannot simply join KnowledgePanel unless you’re a US citizen and you’ve been invited by the program.

Unlike other platforms, you cannot invite people and make money from it. You can refer a family member though but you won’t earn anything from it.

Tired of Trading Your Precious Time for Money?

Here is a Blueprint to Owing Highly Profitable Online Business Without Any Experience REVEALED!

Who Is It For?

This is for anyone who has received an invite from KnowledgePanel; however, don’t expect it to give you enough income. You can use it only when you have free time to help improve a brand or make a change by sharing your opinion. So, it’s more like helping the country than using it to make money.

Training Tools/Support

Instructions will be provided on how you will answer the survey. Normally, platforms like this won’t offer training since all you have to do is share your opinion or choose an answer from multiple choices.

Final Opinion/Verdict

It’s good to know that KnowledgePanel is not a scam. However, it’s not like what you've expected. You won’t make easy money from it by just spending 10 to 15 minutes a week. It’s simple as you will only provide your opinion or feedback but then, you’ll only receive $1 for every survey.

As mentioned, you should see it as a way to help improve a product or program rather than it being your source of income.

This goes not only to KnowledgePanel and other survey platforms -- this is not a good source of income.

What’s Next?

If you’re interested in making money in your free time, I suggest that you sign up with my top-recommended program. But I have to be honest, this is not something you can do in 15 minutes or less but the good news is that you can take advantage of the following:

  • Training resources
  • Webinars to help you start your business online
  • One-on-one coaching
  • Comprehensive guide
  • And many more!

If this is not good enough for you, I don’t know what else will.
