Valued OpinionsReview Summary
Name: Valued Opinions
Founders: Dynata (Parent Company)
Product Type: Online Survey Platform
Quick Summary: Valued Opinions is an online survey platform under Dynata, a large market research company. It claims to pay its users for answering surveys, watching ads, trying products, and joining its affiliate program.
While most of its claims are true, there are issues that you should know before joining.
Overall Rating: 4/10
Apparently, an online survey platform called Valued Opinions can reward shopping vouchers, gift cards, and more just by answering questions and you can do this right in the comfort of your own home.
This is good news, especially because of what’s happening nowadays.
But before you sign, be sure to read the entire Valued Opinions review first to know the most important things, such as what it’s about, how it works, pros and cons, and how much money you can make by joining this program.
Of course, we’ll answer the most important question: is Valued Opinions a scam?
What Is Valued Opinions About?
As the name suggests, Valued Opinions is an online platform that pays you for sharing your feedback or opinion about a certain product, brand, or topic. It’s a typically paid survey website that rewards you in return for your thoughts.
You can also try products personally so you can share your own review or feedback.
The main goal of Valued Opinions and similar platforms is to help businesses improve their products or services and learn more about their target market. Therefore, the concept itself is feasible.
One good thing about Valued Opinions is that they are not only available in the US but over 40 countries, such as China, Germany, South Africa, and in the UK.
As for the company’s history, Valued Opinions is owned by Dynata, which is formerly known as Research now. It was founded in 2004 and has more than 3 million members worldwide.
Another good news about this brand is that it’s backed up by a legit and well-known company. Dynata has been around since 1999 and has been recognized as one of “America’s fastest-growing companies.”
How Valued Opinions Work?
Just like other paid survey websites, the entire process is easy as long as you have basic computer skills and knowledge.
All you have to do is enter the necessary details to start the application. This includes your name, location, birthdate, email address, etc. Such details are important as this will help the company or partnered brands determine if you’re the right fit for their survey.
While the sign up process is easy, it’s worth knowing how the brand will handle your information. Some companies will share and/or sell your details for their own interest but this is normally stated on their terms. Meanwhile, with Valued Opinions, they will be using your information for research alone.
Here’s a screenshot of their terms in regards to how they will handle your personal details:
Before you reach the dashboard, you will be asked to choose a security question. It’s rare for survey platforms to ask for this so I commend how firm they are with your security.
You will also be asked to verify your email and once these initial steps are done, you will be directed to your dashboard. You can explore the platform but I suggest that you start filling up your profile so you can increase your chance of answering questionnaires.
As mentioned, your demographic will determine if you’re the right fit for a specific brand’s survey.
That being said, completing your profile might take time so it’s best to fill out a few sections whenever you’re free.
Things You Need To Know When Joining Paid Survey Platforms
If you’re new to this kind of platform, it’s good to know how it really works. First of all, survey platforms are nothing new. They’ve existed a long time ago and the business model is legit. However, it comes with several drawbacks, such as the pay and the following:
- Valued Opinion pays $3 to $5 worth of gift cards survey and this depends on your location.
- You have to check your email from time to time to see if there’s a new survey to answer.
- Some surveys come with a deadline and if you failed to complete the questionnaire within the timeframe, you might not get any gift checks or vouchers in return.
- You might be rewarded with cash, gift checks, or shopping vouchers.
- There’s no guarantee that you will get paid even if you’ve already answered a survey. Some surveys will provide a pre-questionnaire to assess if you’re the right fit. If you did not fall on the demographics that the company is looking for, then you’re not qualified to answer the survey thus you’ll not receive compensation.
- You need to spend at least 15 to 20 minutes to answer the survey.
- Even if you’re qualified to answer the questionnaire, you might be stopped just because the survey has reached the maximum number of respondents.
How To Make Money With Valued Opinions?
Before anything else, you have to know that the brand is not going to pay you cash. There’s no money in this platform other than the gift checks or shopping vouchers, which, for some people, is good as cash.
The main way to compensate with Valued Opinions is to answer surveys; however, it’s not the only option.
You can also get paid by testing products or by watching ads and sharing your opinion about them.
If you have a website and you want to earn extra cash, you can participate in their affiliate program. However, you cannot start doing this just by signing up. Apart from the website, you need to have good traffic so they can promote ads on your page.
Is Valued Opinions A Scam?
Valued Opinions is not a scam. It’s a legit online platform that’s backed up by a reputable marketing research company.
It provides good security and protection to your account and personal details, which is kind of new to survey platforms.
I’ve reviewed a dozen similar platforms, such as KnowledgePanel and most of them will share your personal details with third parties. This is a no-no because this can result in identity theft or spam emails.
As with Valued Opinion, your confidential details are safe; however, you will not get cash as payment for answering surveys and even if you do, it won’t be enough to help you survive and handle your daily expenses.
So despite being NOT a scam, I don’t recommend you joining this program unless you see it from another perspective, as the goal to help other brands develop the products and/or services you use.

You can join Valued Opinion for free. All you have to do is enter your personal details on their sign up or registration form and verify your email address. No need to pay for any signup fee or anything.
This is good but basically, you’re investing your time rather than money so it’s still best to know if it’s worth it or not.
Here Is My Top Recommendation to Start Highly Profitable Online Business from Comfort Of Your Home
Legit Company Supported By A Reputable Marketing Research Brand
Valued Opinion has been around since 2004 and it’s supported by Dynata, a well-known brand. It’s legit and has been helping various companies for a long time and at the same time, giving small rewards for anyone who participates in their survey.
I also commend them for being firm with data privacy and their users’ security.
No Real Cash Paid
Valued Opinions may pay you for your feedback but not with anything you can turn to cash. You will receive shopping vouchers and gift checks but in times like this, I don’t think shopping is on top of the list. Most people will benefit if it’s a monetary reward so if you’re one of those, then this program is NOT for you!
Very Challenging But Not Worth Your Time
There are a lot of drawbacks when joining this program. For instance, most surveys have time limits. You also have to worry about the maximum number of respondents they need for a certain questionnaire. Of course, every survey requires a specific demographic and if yours don’t fit it, then you won’t be able to answer the survey and earn.
Tired of Wasting Time on Low Quality Programs?
I'm so grateful that I was able to find THIS PROGRAM which helped me to finally start making money online!
Who Is It For?
I won’t recommend Valued Opinions if you’re looking for a source of income, not even as a side hustle because there’s no money here. You can use it if you are fine with receiving vouchers. After all, you can still use it to buy items online.
Also, this might be a good place if you want to help companies improve their products and services by answering surveys and sharing your opinions.
It’s good to know that Valued Opinions is not a scam. I’ve seen a lot of opportunities online and often, even the simplest survey platforms cannot be trusted. So, it’s just right to commend programs such as this one.
The problem, however, is that there’s no money here. It offers rewards like gift checks and vouchers, which can be used to buy items online.
I look at Valued Opinions more like a charity, a way to help businesses to improve their products and services and get to know their clients. It’s a good deed, especially if you’re a fan of a certain brand and you want them to develop the goods or the values they offer you.
However, I won’t recommend it if you’re only looking for a platform you can make money from.
If you want to make money online, you have to remember that it’s not going to be easy. Yes, it’s more convenient compared to working outside but like other businesses and jobs, earning a huge amount of cash takes time.
If it says otherwise, then there’s a good chance that it’s a scam.
