Nowadays, the demand for opportunities to make money at home is undeniably increasing and while there are companies offering ways to earn an income, it won’t be wise to just take whatever it is in front of you.

So today, we’ll talk about one brand that’s making abuzz online. Apparently, this networking company does not only help you make money selling wines but also, making an impact.

OneHope Wine has an interesting product, which is, as the name suggests, wines. While it sounds unique, there are a few multi-level marketing companies that offer the same so what makes this brand one-of-a-kind? 

Apparently, the eight founders of OneHope Wine do not only aim to offer an income opportunity to its aspiring distributors, it also funds social causes and charitable organizations. 

So basically when you participate in OneHope Wine, you’re also helping people.  

At the time of this writing, the brand has donated almost $5 million, and honestly, that’s commendable. I’ve seen several MLM companies claiming that they are using part of their profit to help other organizations but most of the time, they only use it as a front of their real agenda, and that is to scam people. 

Fortunately, with OneHope Wine, they are legit and are dedicated to their products and service.

OneHope Wine Product Line 

If there’s another thing I like about OneHope Wine, it’s their expertise when it comes to their products. They are not just familiar with their wines, they are also spending so much time developing it. 

In fact, they have Estate 8 — their very own proprietary wine production facility. 

Basically, they offer all sorts of wine — white wines, red wines, rose wines, and sparkling wines. 

As mentioned, there are other MLM companies offering wine as their main product, such as Traveling Vineyard and Direct Cellars. 

But perhaps, what makes their brand really standout is their collaboration with celebrities and public figures, such as Chris Paul.  

OneHope Wine has this so-called Signature Series and they collaborate with public figures to pursue their cause.

No, OneHope Wine is not a scam. It’s a legit MLM company with legit products. Their charitable side is also legitimate and not just some marketing efforts to entice consumers.

 Unlike usual scams disguising as MLM companies, they’ve avoided the common red flags so far, such as having bold claims, lack of transparency, using pen names for their founders, or worse, not disclosing the owners’ names at all.

No, OneHope Wine is not a pyramid scheme. It’s a legit MLM and by the way, MLM is a legit business model. 

I know most of you are confused with these two but there’s a huge difference.  

For one, networking, network marketing, or MLM is a legal business model while a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme is downright illegal. The only source of income of recruitment and while MLMs also invite people, it works differently with scams. 

With Ponzi schemes, the goal is to recruit and encourage people to invest into their platform and the money they’ve invested will be used to pay you. Now, imagine once the recruitment stops, how else are you going to make money from it. 

Ponzi schemes are unstable because again, there’s no other source of cash and just in case you didn’t know, it’s illegal in many states and countries. 

An MLM, on the other hand, has legit products and services you can sell to earn retail commissions. Also, when you recruit, you don’t get paid directly from it; rather, you have to encourage your downline to make a sale so you can earn commissions. 

Like other MLM companies, there are different ways to earn cash with OneHope Wine. 

The first one is through retail sales. This means buying their products at a wholesale price and selling it based on their suggested retail price. You can earn around 20% to 25% from it, and it depends on your rank or level. 

Of course, the higher your affiliate rank is, the bigger commission you get. 

Another way to make money is through residual commissions and that simply means earning from your downline’s sales. This is the reason why you should not only be good at recruiting but also at encouraging and training your downlines. The more sales they make, the more commissions you get.

Charity Causes 

I’ve seen tons of MLM companies that use “charity” to attract people but so far, OneHope Wine is the one that I can see, is really passionate about it. They partner with public figures and celebrities, too to achieve their goals.  

Market Potential 

While wine is not a necessity, we can’t deny the fact that there’s a good market for this kind of product. Almost everyone drinks wine and even if it’s not a lot of people, there’s still a potential for this kind of brand to grow. 

CONS 

Overpriced Wines 

Many people love wines, especially if it’s something promoted by their favorite celebrities or public figures but still, OneHope Wine’s products are expensive. Usually, wines are sold around $15 to $20 but with OneHope Wine, it’s around $25 or more.  

As a new distributor, this can be challenging considering that there are cheaper alternatives from known brands in the market. 

Low Income Potential 

The good news is that the wine niche in MLM is not yet saturated but the wine itself is. There are many known wines in the US alone and this can be a challenge for their distributors. Also, aside from selling, you have to recruit people so you can earn more. 

MLM, while legit, is difficult and even a study suggests that only 1% of MLM participants become successful. I’m not saying that there’s no chance to make money here but it’s good to consider it only as a side hustle and not as your main source of income.

Overall, I like OneHope Wine as a business. It’s transparent and it has a purpose. It provides ways to make money for aspiring distributors and at the same time, they also help people through charity causes. 

Like typical MLM companies, it has a few drawbacks, such as overpriced products and low-income potential. You also need to recruit people and encourage them to make a sale. 

I’m not saying that you should not join this company but just make sure that you are aware of what you need to do and what you should expect when you join this program.
