But believe me when I say that not all paid survey sites are created equal, you may still find companies that are worth working with, especially if you’re only looking for a side hustle.  And, if you go online, you may encounter a get-paid-to site called Panda Research.

Panda Research is a market research company that pays its users in exchange for answering surveys, reading emails, accomplishing offers, and other tasks. The amount you may receive depends on the extent of what you are doing and the quality of evaluation provided. Founded by a company named A&A Marketing Inc. in 2005, this paid survey site is also the brain behind InboxDollars, MindsPay, and InboxPays.

Among the paid survey brands under A&A Marketing Group, Panda Research is the most popular one. In fact, it has the largest number of users acquired but don’t let this fool you. I found out several drawbacks that will make you think twice about joining this program, and that we will discuss in a little bit. For now, let’s get to know Panda Research a little more.

How To Sign Up With Panda Research?

When you conduct a Panda Research review online, you’ll find out that this company is only the middle person between you and the other brands. This means that they’ll be sharing your details to other businesses so it’s worth knowing if this product is just a scam or not.

Signing up with Panda Research is fast and easy. It only requires a few information from the user which can be completed in just a few seconds. Here’s how the registration form looks like:

Like other paid survey sites, you’ll be required to answer a few questions, such as your demographics, to know which surveys you are qualified.

With Panda Research, you are not limited to just one way to earn money; rather, you have three options to choose from:

• Accomplishing Surveys — The primary task in all paid survey sites, completing the survey. The cash you will earn from it depends on the corresponding amount specifically provided.
• Referral — Aside from answering questions, you will also earn through a successful referral. Once that new member (you’ve referred) has done some activity, you will also earn a commission from it.
• Accomplishing Paid Offers — If you’re confident with sharing your credit card details or you’re willing to pay a small amount for the shipping fee, you can earn money through paid offers. This means you are going to test a product and provide feedback in exchange of cash.

Once you’ve successfully completed any of these tasks, you’ll receive the payments after 24 hours, and you can get via PayPal only. No other options like a paycheck or bank transfer so if you want to join this program, be sure to create a PayPal account — but not until you finish reading this. Believe me, it helps to know more about the product before joining.

Panda Research is one of the longest operating survey websites over the Internet, and that alone only proves that the company is legitimate. Also, when you check out the entire web page, you might see it as simple and straightforward. Yes, it’s not like the stunning sites that we’re all used to, nothing fancy, and it does have one important element that confirms it legitimacy — the copyright text located at the lowest part of the page.

However, I just don’t understand why it’s not updated anymore. It says: “Copyright Panda Research, 2005 – 2011 All rights reserved.” It’s 2019 and I think for a stable website like this, it’s not difficult to update the details on their page, right? 

Also, even if the site is not a scam at all, it’s still risky to join and participate in the surveys and paid offers because they are protected with a disclaimer which states: No-Payment Guarantee.

While it’s true that you will earn money online using their platform, they are not obliged to do it, so if I were you, I would definitely back out now. Not only were you risking yourself answering a handful of questions only to receive a small amount, there’s also a chance for you to get nothing at all.

It is free to join Panda Research so if you’re looking for ways to earn online without investment, you might consider this as one of your options (providing that you’re fine with their No-Payment Guarantee disclaimer). 

When it comes to the repayment, the amount depends on the task. On their website, they say that “payments are made in multiples of $50”. So if you earned $101, you can withdraw $100 from your PayPal account, while your $1 balance will stay in your account. You’ll have to wait and do other tasks again until it reaches $50 so you can get it.

For the schedule of payments, Panda Research compensates its users 30 days after the requested payment, and you can get it on the 1st or 15th day of the month.

The repayment period takes a long time. It is mandatory that you wait for 30 days after requesting before you have your hard earned cash.

Poor Customer Support

If you have any complaints or inquiries, the only way to reach them is by filling out their “Support Ticketing System”. Some users even complained that it takes a long time for them to get a response.

High Payment Threshold

It's no secret how low the payments and to make things a little more challenging, you need to have at least $50 to get your payment.

If you’re living outside the US, you can't benefit from this paid survey website since it's only available in the United States.

Panda Research is ideal for anyone living in the US and looking for a side hustle. But take note: the earning is very low, like with most paid survey sites, so it’s only good if you’re not expecting to make huge cash out of it. 

But if I were you, I would not hesitate running away from this website anymore. The no-guarantee pay policy is scary enough, I mean, why waste your precious time if you already know that there’s no assurance for you get anything in return.

If you want to find a way to earn online that could replace your regular job, perhaps even scoring a passive income, answering surveys, whether it’s paid or not, is not the best option. For years of doing research and trying out several methods (MLM, blogging, paid survey sites, GPT websites, and the list goes on), there’s only one thing that stood out, and that’s no other than affiliate marketing.

It’s legal, it’s worth your time, and it’s a guaranteed way to earn a massive amount — almost! And by that I mean you need to ensure that you’re with the right program first. For their support, they’ve provided an online support ticket you can use fill out should there be any concerns or problems.

Even if Panda Research has been in the industry for a long time and there are only a few red flags to watch out for, it’s a BIG NO for me. I know I’ve said it a dozen times but the no-guarantee pay has just ruined it all. It would have been a good site considering that the pay, although low, is higher compared to other paid survey programs, plus you have more ways than one to earn. But still, I can’t recommend it as it will not help you obtain a good amount, let alone a full-time income.
