Is Pure Haven Essentials A Scam? Can You TRUST This Rebooted MLM Program?

Beauty, personal, and skincare is not new in the business industry and more than a want, it’s been now labeled as something like a need by most women and even men of today’s generation. And that’s probably one of the reasons why beauty and skincare products are teeming the market.  

With that need arising, a lot of businesses in this niche also keep popping out, and one of which is called Pure Haven Essentials. 

For starters, it’s a network marketing or multi-level marketing (MLM) company that is known for selling anti-aging products and other beauty essentials, like Mary Kay and Avon. 

That being said, is it also a hit in the market? Can you make money from this platform? Most importantly, is Pure Havens Essentials a scam?

Pure Haven Essentials is an MLM company in the personal care niche and its products are mostly for beauty and skincare. It’s a reboot of the company Ava Anderson or also known as Ava Anderson Non-Toxic or as Ava Anderson LLC.  

Ava Anderson LLC was a company known for selling makeup, creams, soaps and other goods that were non-toxic. It was established in 2009 but later on, it announced its shutdown in 2016 due to online harassment. 

Apparently, a scandal unfolded in early 2015 proved that the allegedly organic soap the firm was producing and exporting was nothing more than regular soap. What’s worse is that it contains all the harmful ingredients.  

Later in the same year, they announced that it will continue under a new brand but without its founder and her family, thus the birth of Pure Haven Essentials.  

The rebooted company has adopted the previous tagline, “Natural. Fresh. Trusted,” for their beauty products. Their products can be categorized into skincare, makeup, body care, baby, home, for men and pets, etc. 

On August 3, 2016, it was acquired by Global Ventures Partners -- a company owned by Bruce Jensen, Rudy Revak, Mary Julich, and Steve Kole. The brand also owns other MLM companies, such as TuVous (fashion company) and Symmetry Global (nutrition company).

Pure Haven Essentials is based in Rhode Island in the USA. 

Pure Haven Essentials Product Line

Pure Haven Essentials markets and sells a wide variety of personal care, beauty and skincare products that they claim to be free of harmful chemicals, as their tagline would say, “Natural. Fresh. Trusted.” 

Their product line includes skincare, makeup, body care, baby, home, men and pet products. They have as well essential oils and rubs. Some of their cosmetic products are quite similar to those offered by the Ava Anderson Non-Toxic brand, while others are completely new and original.

FYI: To qualify for MLM commissions a Pure Haven Essentials affiliate must generate $500 Personal Volume (PV) every six months to remain active.

Retail Commissions - Pure Haven Essentials affiliates earn a retail commission on product orders by retail customers. 

Residual Commissions - Are paid out via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1): 

• Generation Bonus- Bronze and higher ranked Pure Haven Essentials affiliates earn a Generation Bonus on up to five generations within each unilevel leg of their downline.
• Executive Bonus- Pure Haven Essentials pay a $500 Executive Bonus when an affiliate qualifies at the Executive rank. $500 is also paid to the first Executive or higher ranked affiliate in their upline.

These are the ranks along with their respective qualification criteria:

• Consultant – Sign up as a Pure Haven Essentials affiliate
• Star – Qualify for commissions and recruit at least one MLM commission qualified affiliate
• Double Star – Generate $600 PV a month, recruit and maintain two MLM commission qualified affiliates and have a total monthly downline volume of $2000 GV
• Triple Star – Generate $800 PV a month, recruit and maintain three MLM commission qualified affiliates (one Star or higher) and have a total monthly downline volume of $4000 GV
• Executive – Generate $1000 PV a month, recruit and maintain four MLM commission qualified affiliates (two Double Star or higher) and have a total monthly downline volume of $8000 GV
• Bronze – Generate $1000 PV a month, maintain four MLM commission qualified affiliates (one Executive) and have a total monthly downline volume of $8000 GV
• Silver – Maintain $1000 PV a month, maintain four MLM commission qualified affiliates (two Executives) and have a total monthly downline volume of $30,000 GV
• Gold – Maintain $1000 PV a month, maintain four MLM commission qualified affiliates (three Executives and one Bronze) and have a total monthly downline volume of $60,000 GV
• Platinum – Maintain $1000 PV a month, recruit and maintain six MLM commission qualified affiliates (four Executives (at least once within the last 12 months) and two Silver) and have a total monthly downline volume of $120,000 GV
• Diamond – Maintain $1000 PV a month, recruit and maintain seven MLM commission qualified affiliates (five Executives (at least once within the last 12 months) and one Gold) and have a total monthly downline volume of $300,000 GV

Pure Haven Essentials is a legitimate MLM company, selling and distributing tangible beauty and skincare products. You can earn these products depending on your sales and recruitment commissions as well as with their bonuses. 

Despite the fact that this MLM had some legal issues and problems with the image of its former company Ava Anderson, it managed to start anew and is currently staying afloat. Though they are not a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited company, they do hold an A+ rating from BBB. 

But still, I would not recommend you joining this MLM opportunity for a couple of hazy details, just like the fact that they don’t provide owner information on their landing page. I hope they could have placed the name of those running the company for when things go wrong, it would be hard finding who to blame. 

Yes, not enough transparency!

Being an MLM opportunity, joining their affiliate program, you will choose from their starter kits. The kit includes every product that you are going to need to achieve that sales pitch.

PROS

Free Shipping On All Kits

From my own point of view, there’s not much to like about this company but one thing I noted is that there were free shipping privileges on all kits. Well, for me that would be a big advantage because it will no longer add to the extra expenses that you’ll have to pay.

I like how their landing page looks, quite minimalistic yet classy. I also like their goal to provide safe products that are as well advocated on their company website. 

CONS

Still Yet To Prove Self

Yes, Pure haven essentials are a legit company but their rebooted business venture has yet to acquire the market portion that the previous one had. This means that it may not generate as many profits as the owners are used to.  

It may take some time for it to start bringing large sums of income to its affiliates. So success is still uncertain. But kudos to them that they had managed to get things straight and put their MLM business back on track. 

Not Transparent

One pitfall I could think that would lead me not recommending you joining this MLM opportunity is the fact that they are not transparent enough. Yes, they don’t provide owner information on their landing page which is something odd. 

I hope they could have placed the name of those running the company for when things go wrong it would be hard to find people in charge and it would be hard to find who to blame. 

Previous Image Of Former Company

As mentioned, the former company had been through a lot of scandals and was even shut down. With that record, I could stay that though they rebranded it when people will find out about the past, I could say it will still affect the image of the current company. 

Many Competition In The Market

With a lot of competition in this kind of niche, it would be quite a challenge to market Pure Haven products since there are a lot of well-known companies selling the same line of products. It would really require skills and hard work. 

It is a business opportunity intended for those who have skills in sales and are consummate in the MLM world. It is also for those who are hardworking and competitive. It is also for those who are beauty and skincare enthusiasts in which women are the majority but men can be as well since they also sell men essentials. 

Purchasing their Starter Kits includes not only the products but as well as business tools and materials essentially needed for your very own Pure haven business. You’ll have branded printed materials to support your business.   

You can have as well access to training that will help you maximize your success. You will be as well funded by the company with its Rich Host Program.

In closing, Pure Haven Essentials is a legitimate MLM company with a decent compensation plan. However, with previous records of the former company, it’s difficult for me to recommend this MLM opportunity. 

Also, Pure Haven is not transparent enough. With no information on the founder or about the people running the business, there’s definitely something odd about it. And since it’s a rebooted business venture, it has yet to acquire the market portion that the previous one had.  

That being said, it may not generate as many profits as the owners are used to and it may take some time for it to start compensating its affiliates well. So success is still uncertain. So why join if success is uncertain?
