Is QNet A Scam? Multifaceted MLM Company In A Pyramid Scheme?
Welcome to my QNet Review!
E-commerce platforms are all over the internet and so have been those incorporated with a multi-level marketing (MLM) platform. Shopping everything you need in one place is good; earning an opportunity from the same platform is even better.
Perhaps, this is what makes networking companies enticing.
QNet Review Summary
Name: QNet Ltd. (QuestNet, GoldQuest, QI Limited)
Website: www.qnet.net
Founders: Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Bismark
Product Type: Multi-Level Marketing
Price: $30 For The Initial Fee + $30 For The Annual Fee + Products
Quick Summary: QNet is an e-commerce multi-level marketing company that markets and provides various products in different niches, such as health and wellness, home and living, personal care and beauty, watches and jewelry, education, travel, and technology.
With a lot of options in every category, you’ll probably not run out of things to sell.
Just like most MLMs, you’ll earn commissions through retail sales and recruitment in QNET. It may have been operating legally in some countries. However, it has been charged as a pyramid scheme in a couple of countries and has been as well involved in lawsuits.
With such records, I wonder why it’s still running up to now.
Overall Rating: 2/10

Today, we’re going to talk about a popular MLM called QNet. It’s a multi-faceted brand in terms of its products and niches. There are tons of goods to make money from but would this be the right business opportunity to jumpstart your business?
Now, I’ve said it’s popular but not always for good reason. In fact, it has bad records in some countries so it’s good to take a look at what it's really about before jumping into the opportunity.
So without further ado, let’s get started!
What Is QNet About?
QNet is a multi-level marketing company that offers a variety of products and operates in different niches, not just one or two but a lot, including health and wellness, home and living, personal care and beauty and education, and more.
What is now known as QNet was founded by these two entrepreneurs, Joseph Bismark (left) and Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran (right)?
QNet was founded by a Malaysian businessman named Vijay Eswaran.
He and Joseph Bismark, an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, life coach, and an accomplished author, co-founded QI Group in September 1998 in Manila, Philippines. Apparently, it’s over 2 decades in the business.
However, QNet had legal issues in several countries including India, Philippines, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal. And also, the management and affiliates of the company have been arrested in several countries too.
QNet was formerly known as QuestNet, GoldQuest, and QI Limited and is now based in Hong Kong, China.
This multi-level marketing company is owned by the QI Group.

How To Make Money With QNet?
QNet being an MLM offers an affiliate program.
To start being a QNET Independent Representative and be an affiliate of this company, you will need to pay $30 and that would also be the annual fee as an affiliate.
It’s not that high but the problem is that you have to spend more money in purchasing the products in order to meet the high BV (business volume) requirements.
So, you have to spend more than $30 if you decide to join this company.
They say a QNET Independent Representative can gain a sustainable business and residual income if they develop and practice the disciplines of REFER, REPEAT, RISE, AND RETAIN.
Refer
Regularly using and referring QNET products as you build your sales team
- RETAIL PROFIT
- EARLY PAYOUT
Repeat
Be a product of your product and consume it. Create this repetition behavior in your business team to enjoy the true residual income.
- Step Commission - Your binary team begins when you recruit two people as distributors, and then they are placed in two different teams.
The people that you recruit are placed at your level 1.There are 2 positions on your 1st level and they double at the second level. The number of positions will double with each level as the 2 teams grow.
You can earn on several steps depending on your rank. So, this bonus is all about how well your binary team does and how big it is. The amount of bonus that you will earn per step depends on your active pay rank.
These are the following ranks and the amounts of Step Commissions paid on each:
- Bronze Star: $200 per step (maximum 40 steps/week)
- Silver Star: $225 per step (maximum 50 steps/week)
- Gold Star: $250 per step (maximum 60 steps/week)
- Sapphire Star: $260 per step (maximum 65 steps/ week)
- Platinum Star: $275 per step (maximum 70 steps/week)
- Diamond Star: $300 per step (maximum 80 steps/week)
- Blue Diamond Star: $325 per step (maximum 90 steps/week)
Rise
Increase in rank, stature, and earning as you advance in the QNet Achievers’ Club.
Retain
Retain the success that you and your sales team have achieved to ensure a sustainable and solid business.
- Rank Maintenance Bonus
- Year-round Incentives
Is QNet A Scam?
QNet may be legal in some countries but for most, it was charged to be a pyramid scheme.
According to our source, the brand has been involved with money laundering and tons of reviews suggest that it’s a scam.
The brand is still operating right now but with all these accusations, it’s best to ignore QNet and join another MLM company instead.
Unknown to many, there are companies under the network marketing scheme that are good and actually profitable, such as Juuva, Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic, and Discovery Toys.
Price
To join as a QNET Independent Representative, you will need to pay $30 and that also serves as the annual fee. But on top of that, you’ll have to spend more than $30 if you want to meet the BV requirements and gain more money.
Here Is My Top Recommendation to Start Highly Profitable Online Business from Comfort Of Your Home
Pros/Cons
PROS
I don’t recommend this program at all because one, there’s nothing to like about it and two, there are a lot of red flags and I’d love to discuss it below.
CONS
No Retail Profit Percentage Info
In QNet, they are not transparent about the percentage of retail profit. They don’t mention this in their compensation plan.
This is weird considering that they are supposed to work as an MLM company; meaning, selling products should be another option to make money. This should be considered a red flag.
According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), products may be “used to disguise a pyramid scheme.” Despite the number of products they have, the real intention is to recruit and for the top of the pyramid to earn more money.
Recruitment Hype
The only condition for earning a good amount of money on these types of platforms is by recruiting a lot of people because most probably there’s a low-income percentage in retail commissions. Just like most MLMs are, recruitment is also the name of the game in QNet!
Pyramid Scheme
QNet may be operating legally in some countries but it has legal issues in several countries such as India, Philippines, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal. It was even charged as a pyramid scheme.
As you can see, there’s too much hype in recruitment. Also, it seems like more affiliates are losing their money rather than earning.

Who Is It For?
I don’t recommend this to anyone. If you want to join MLM companies and earn through retail sales and recruitment, then it would be better if you’ll look for other networking companies instead.
Final Opinion/Verdict
Network marketing with e-commerce is rampant in the business and though QNet may have been operating for long, it’s still considered a pyramid Scheme in most countries it operates.
Many government entities described Qnet's business model as a Ponzi scheme rather than a legit MLM program.
Affiliates are required to focus on recruitment to earn more, rather than on making a sale.
In addition, QNet had also been involved in legal suits. So knowing that Qnet has been operating fraudulently in most countries and that the management and affiliates have even been arrested in several countries, will you still join in this opportunity?
For me, definitely no.
So my verdict is that I’m not recommending you this one.
