Mary & Martha Review – Faith-Based Products Christian MLM Company Exposed!

Heard of this multi-level marketing (MLM). I’m not religious but I’ve read the bible and seen their names in the new testament and I’d love their story with Jesus. 

That’s why, upon first seeing the name of this MLM, those two characters resonated in my head, and through enough, it was really them that was used as inspiration. It also made me think that this is a faith-based MLM, which again I’m correct.

As we know, the business scene has been filled with networking opportunities but it’s seldom to find faith-based products incorporated with such MLMs right? Well, here’s an MLM company that combines your faith with your work through the products they sell! 

There are questions though, such as:

Is the income opportunity that “Mary & Martha” offers be a great break to gain remunerative income? Is this faith-based company legit? Let’s talk about more of this MLM company in this review!

Mary & Martha is a Christian “faith-based” MLM company that’s focused on the Christian faith and as well as family. They market and sell a range of Christian products that you’d as well find at your local Christian bookstore. 

Being an MLM, it offers an affiliate program to the women of faith and terms them as consultants. The idea of opportunity is to use the company as a way to support their family and share their faith.

Originally called Blessings Unlimited, Mary & Martha’s beginnings started in 2006 when it began its operations. It is based out of Siloam Springs, Arkansas USA. It was founded by the company called DaySpring which produces Christian greeting cards and gifts. DaySpring has been partnering with Christian stores in local communities for decades. Blessings Unlimited or what is known as Mary & Martha is based on Christian principles for the Christian ministry.  

Mary & Martha Product Line

As mentioned, Mary & Martha offers a variety of Christian and inspirational products that are not only sold through the website but are also sold through home parties or gatherings. The product categories include:

• Compassion
• New arrivals
• Bags & Apparel
• Books
• Candace
• Candles
• For Kids
• Home Decor
• Jewelry
• Kitchen & Tableware
• Stationery

There are also product categories for products on sale. 

Product-wise, their products look classy yet they don’t cost that much. Though the other items’ costs are a bit higher compared to regular items for the home. 

Still, the prices here are in the same wave as what you would find often in Christian stores.

The business structure is almost the same as:

• Tranont
• International Silver Network

Mary & Martha is definitely not a scam. It’s a legit MLM opportunity that offers legit products and a legit income opportunity. Though it’s not a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited company, Mary & Martha is a member of the Direct Selling Association which may show its legitimacy. 

Mary & Martha appears to be legit and not a scam. It is also not a Pyramid Scheme and Ponzi Scheme as it comes with products you can sell and make sales even without recruiting. 

Though the bigger income may come through advancing in affiliate ranks it’s more of making volume requirements. So, recruitment is not the sole source of income here. 

It’s not focused on recruiting an unending downline of affiliates but developing a decent team to be successful. As there are only three generations to earn from. 

Basically, being an MLM, you will earn through sales and as well through recruitment in Mary & Martha’s MLM opportunity. 

• Retail Sales - If you stay at the basic level with no sales quotas or ongoing costs to worry about, you’ll earn about 25% commission on sales. If you want to gain a bigger income, you’ll have to work with the sales quota and stuff. Yet your reward is that your commission rate can be increased to 30% for each month. 
• Recruitment Commissions - Other than making money through sales, you can also gain significant income through building a team. The larger and more successful your team is, the more money you make. 

This happens because you earn commissions from your own sales and those of your team members. If you have a large team, this can add up quickly. A related component is the ranks. Yes, being an MLM, Mary & Martha comes in 8 different affiliate ranks, namely:

PROS

Noble Mission/ Ministry

The mission is not only to have an earning opportunity but to live on to the ministry of sharing faith and encouragement. I also like the fact that they also do charity work not only as a consultant but as a customer.

A portion of the sale from the product you purchased will be given to children in Africa through Compassion International. Well for me, having a business opportunity that also supports a charitable mission sounds pretty rewarding and fulfilling. 

Not to mention the fact that you’ll only find a few MLMs doing such work. Mary & Martha is legit and it comes with a very promising faith-filled mission and it would be nice to take part in that. 

Encouraging Community

The community feeling is outstanding. The mutual support and exchange of encouragement that consultants give each other in Mary & Martha is something commendable.

It’s also being shared with customers with the products that bring much hope, inspiration, and encouragement. 

CONS

Hard To Keep Up With The Volume Requirements

It seems like Mary & Martha prioritize sales a bit more than recruiting which is a good sign that this is not a pyramid scheme. However, advancing in ranks may take a lot of volume requirements. 

Even with the significant product prices, this income target could be challenging to hit. After all, the products in question aren't consumable. 

Some are also a bit pricey, so it’ll be a challenge marketing and selling them.

Home Parties/ Gatherings To Sell

Like many similar companies, Mary & Martha is party-based. This means that you have to host parties or gatherings at the houses of friends and family members. 

Well, the idea is that these provide an avenue to sell and market the products but it may not work for all. 

It might give you a big income but that is if you’re really good at it; like if you have personal experience and knowledge on it.

Your success in these depends highly on your ability to convince your audience to buy. 

As a Christian direct sales company, Mary & Martha empowers women. It provides training and support for its consultants. 

When you become a consultant, you’ll have access to the training material on your website dashboard. 

They also have Facebook support groups so that you can get live training from the corporate office and national leaders. 

In these group interactions, you can also work with other consultants for promotion ideas and strategies. Then, your uplines could be your mentor and support people.

No doubt that Mary & Martha is a legit MLM company. 

Yes, you can earn a profit from sales but if you want to make a significant income, the process becomes much more complicated. 

For one, you have to keep up with all the volume requirements and build your team who also does the same. Typical MLM challenges. 

It’s also a hassle setting house parties but I do commend them for their mission and encouragement bandwagon. It’s nice to find stuff like that, especially during these trying times. 

To conclude, product-wise I like what they sell. It’s also a breath of fresh air to find inspiring products but as an earning opportunity, it may not be the best option out there. 

So, not recommending this one for you especially if you’re looking for a lucrative income.
