Is RewardBee A Scam? Here’s Why You Should NOT Sign Up For This Website

I’ve tried a few paid survey sites in the past when I was looking for ways to make money online. I found them to be very straight forward and even fun. Imagine, you’ll be earning dollars just by answering easy questions, such as: "Where do you shop, What brand do you prefer, etc".

However, after a couple of websites, I realized that it’s not as easy as it sounds. You have to answer tons of questionnaires just to get points and you need thousands of it so you can convert it to cash.

Also, the number of surveys you can answer is very limited. If your demographic doesn’t fit the company’s requirements, then you have to wait.

Since then, I stopped taking surveys because it’s a waste of time. However, I can’t directly assume that all paid survey websites are trash. I mean, there are sites that really pay and these dollars add up and can be used to make small purchases.

Here we are going to review RewardBee and find out how legitimate they are. 

So, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys participating in paid survey websites, this one’s for you.

In this post, you’ll learn everything you need to know about RewardBee. How does it work? Is RewardBee a scam? How much money can you make from it?

The first time I saw RewardBee, one of the things I noticed are the magazines, like HGTV magazines and Men’s Health, and I wondered what these are about.

Are they in partnership with these brands? Are the questions related to magazine subscriptions? Then, after research, I found out the terrible truth that I’ll share in a bit.

For now, let’s talk about RewardBee.

Located in Philadelphia, RewardBee has been founded in December 2015. It’s a paid survey website that serves two clienteles: business owners and individuals who want to make money online. 

For business owners, they provide services like Cost-Per-Action (CPA), digital marketing, survey hosting, lead generation, product placement, and consumer insights.

For those who want to make money online, they pay survey takers for answering questions. 

How RewardBee Works?

Just like other websites, you have to create an account before answering questionnaires. This includes giving your name, email address, and creating a password.

Once you’re done, you’ll see a list of surveys with its category and the corresponding points you can get. As of the writing, all surveys are worth $30 points. More or less, you’ll answer 15 questions so it’s not time-consuming.

Unlike other paid survey sites, there’s no qualifying questions to know if your demographic matches the company’s requirements. Also, the points you can get is bigger compared to other similar platforms but there’s a catch.

Other Opportunities

Aside from answering surveys, you can earn rewards in two more ways: playing games and referrals.

RewardBee offers games you can download so you can have fun and earn at the same time. For every 2-minute game, you can get 10 points.

Meanwhile, you can earn $5 reward points for every referral and it’s easy. All you need to do is enter your friends’ email addresses.

RewardBee Scam - Is there?

RewardBee is a legit site; however, it’s not what I expected. Yes, it pays $30 points which is enticing since most paid survey sites pay less than $10 a month; however, they fail to mention that you cannot encash this reward.

Apparently, the only reward option you have are magazines -- digital and traditional (sent via mail) -- and that explains that magazine brands I’ve seen on their website. The good news is that a 12 to 24-magazine issue costs $10 to $30. Bad news? There’s no cash rewards.

As mentioned, RewardBee is not a scam. It’s legit but the reward you will get is not really worth it. If you’re a fan of magazines, then you can consider this option but if not, I don’t see any reason why you need to sign up.

For one, you can read similar posts on the internet -- FOR FREE! Also, if you want to spend your free time answering questionnaires, there are similar platforms that are more worthy since they pay cash.

I also found out red flags that you should take note off, such as spam emails and the use of your information.

RewardBee Reviews

I found a couple of reviews claiming that RewardBee is spamming their emails but if that’s not alarming enough, read the complaint below.

Apparently, someone has used the reviewer’s email address without his consent and he’s been receiving promotional email messages. Personally, I hate receiving ad emails from unknown sites offering products and services that I’m not interested in, so before you sign up with RewardBee, think twice.

Also, do not skip their Privacy Policy. In it, you’ll find out how they are going to use the details they have gathered. 

If receiving spam email messages is not enough, how about being bombarded with calls and messages? Also, the fact that you are giving them consent to share or sell your information to third parties is undesirable.

No Real Cash

If you’re expecting money, RewardBee is not an option simply because they don’t reward cash! 

Join the top recommended platform of many internet marketers and individuals who want to make money online instead.

Your Privacy Is At Risk

As mentioned above, you are giving RewardBee a consent to share your name, email address, phone number, and other vital information when you sign up with them. That means other companies can send you text messages, emails, and calls to offer you products and services any time!

Unsolicited Email Messages, Calls, And SMS

RewardBee members complained about receiving spam emails from RewardBee and the worse part is that there’s no way to unsubscribe from this.

I can’t recommend RewardBee to anyone unless you’re a big fan of magazines.

RewardBee is pretty straightforward so you don’t really need to have any training or experience to do this. 

When it comes to customer support, you can fill out an online ticket with your name, email address, preferred method of contact, inquiry topic, and your concern. You can also reach them through their social media accounts, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

RewardBee is legit survey website that you can consider if you love magazine subscriptions. As of now, they don’t pay cash so I cannot recommend it to anyone. Also, your privacy is at risk so you really have to think a lot of times before joining the program -- or you can skip this and join my top recommended platform instead.

Life is too short to waste it on something that won’t provide you value. So if you want to make money online, be sure to spend it on a platform that will give you everything you deserve.
