In today’s post, we’ll talk about a similar program called Job Killing and while it’s about lead generation, what makes it different from other platforms is its “Rank and Rent” feature.

Typically, lead generation courses focus on Facebook ads; however, Job Killing is about creating your own assets that you "rent out" to small businesses.

Instead of learning how to use Facebook ads and SEO, you will learn how to create websites that let you rent leads to local businesses. 

The aim of Job Killing is to Rank and Rent.  

Its training is actually better than standard SEO training because you own the asset unlike when your SEO client can throw you out at any time and you're left with nothing. 

The challenge is that it will take at least 3 months for Google to recognize a website as legit. 

Aspects such as niche and competition are also to consider in the pursuit of ranks. 

Take note also that even when your website does start ranking, you’ll still be faced with some challenges along the way. 

It was Dan Klein and Brad Campbell who started the company. We can’t tell the exact date when it started but it was in 2014 when people began joining. We can’t also tell the exact date when one of the founders, Brad Campbell left the company.

Apparently, Job Killing is one of those online leading generation training courses that are legitimate. It may also have been running for more than 7 years. So, it’s a legit training platform that offers substantial skills and learnings. 

I guess, it’s still one of those platforms that will cost you thousands of dollars but you’ll also earn income. 

As an earning opportunity, it’s also a legit way and they have shared a lot of success stories. However, I just don't like the fact that they are not transparent, especially the costs of these training that definitely should have.

Job Killing is legit. It offers a legit way to earn money and it provides substantial skills and learnings. Apparently, there’s no recruitment hype here, just an online training and coaching platform that provides a course for lead generation and more. Thus, it’s not a Pyramid or a Ponzi Scheme. 

Yes, you can make money at Job Killing. It has a legit business model that can help you generate leads and gain success in generating your income as well. They even have success stories to prove that. 

We may not find a definite compensation plan online because it will still depend on each one on how they would move into action in generating their leads. As mentioned, this Rent and Rank work like you to create websites that you own and can rent leads to local businesses.

The cost of joining Job Killing is not disclosed but joining is not as easy as counting 1-2-3, you first have to find a "JK coach" - “Job Killing” Coach. Then, fill out an application form and have a "strategy session" to see if you're a good fit for the course and pay. So, I guess being enrolled in their course is filtered. But as I mentioned, you can’t find the price of their training anywhere on their website or before you go through the coaching application. But probably, the price would range between $4,860-$8,778, depending on how much you pay in one go but the costs don't stop there. Platforms like this have business models that would require to pay ongoing costs such as:

• Weebley hosting and domain- $25 a month per website (needed)

• Call tracker i.e. Callrail $45-$145 per month or Callsling - $498 one time fee (needed- but you get one included - note it doesn't work everywhere in the world)

• Email autoresponder to track leads - $15+ a month

• PO Box (to set up your business address) - $19-$75 for 6 months (needed)

• SpyFu (competitor keyword research) - $33- $199 a month / AHrefs (keyword research) - $99 a month

• PPC ads - $200+ a month (not needed but can help for speed)

• Outsourcing (some people pay others to build a website or do some of the tasks- not needed, but a great way to scale eventually)

I like the fact that they have weekly facebook group calls and coaching sessions which I believe is essential to gain more insights, techniques, experience, and skills.

Not Transparent

Not only are the costs not disclosed, but there are also other hidden costs to pay. And it will even cost you thousands. They may be a legit training platform but being not that transparent with the costs is something to be bothered by.

With a lot of competition and contenders, it will be hard to rank and it will take time. And also the “rank and rent" model is that you may get people taking your leads and not paying you money. 

That means you need to keep track of the leads you send and "chase the money", especially in the early days with a new client. So, success is till client reliant. 

Not For All

Since these kinds of platforms are pretty costly. So, it’s not for everyone. You should be really into this and you should have the pocket to splash out a thousand dollars. And also, it’s a lot to take in for beginners and it would only best suit those who want to create lead generation assets to quit their job. As the company is named, Job Killing.

Like most lead generation training platforms, Job Killing also provides substantial techniques and skills. 

As for support, their website is packed with FAQs and you could also email them for help. They also have one on one coaching and facebook group weekly calls.

Job Killing is a legit training and coaching platform for lead generation. It indeed provides substantial learning and an opportunity to generate income. However, it’s still pretty expensive and will cost you a lot. 

It’s high maintenance. 

Also, with a lot of competition, it will be hard to keep on track. So, it’s not for everyone. If you’re really not into lead generation and if you’re not that financially capable, better skip this platform. 

However, if you are already familiar with this field, this training course can serve as a platform to put that knowledge to good use and practice. 

As for me, I am not recommending you to this one. There are definitely way better ones that are worth your time, money, and effort than this.
