In the past, we’ve talked about Vasayo -- an opportunity that claims to help us make money at home by selling weight loss products. It’s been popular since then but has it always been because of the best reasons?

The last review we’ve made puts Vasayo in a good spot and now, it seems like there are tons of changes that helped improve the company’s standing. However, just like other seemingly good opportunities, it pays to do a background check first before joining the program. 

So in this post, we’ll learn more about the health and wellness company, Vasayo. 

After years of being in business, is Vasayo a scam or a legit opportunity? 

What’s the truth about it being called a pyramid scheme? 

Is it worth your time and money?

First things first, what is Vasayo really about? 

Vasayo is a health and wellness company under the multi-level marketing (MLM) niche. It’s almost the same as First Fitness Nutrition, Avisae, and LurraLife. 

As an MLM, it offers two main ways to make money -- one is by selling its products and two, by recruiting people to join the program. However, unlike pyramid schemes, recruitment is not the sole source of income here, and we’ll talk more about that in a while. 

For now, let’s talk about the basics. 

Vasayo was founded by Dallin Larsen, Karree Larsen, and Daniel Picou in 2016. In just a few years, the brand was able to grow into a million-dollar company, which is definitely an advantage. 

Vasayo Product Line 

According to the brand, they aim to “help solve common problems through extraordinary solutions.” 

Perhaps, one thing that puts the brand on edge over its competitors is its products, especially their Liposomal CBD. It’s patent-protected; however, I can’t say that it’s unique since there are tons of similar products from other brands, most of which are from networking companies. 

While their supplements seem magical or “life-changing,” it’s important to understand that they have not been evaluated by the Food And Drug Administration (FDA). Therefore, it should not be used to treat any illnesses. 

That being said, their essentials that claim to provide the body with necessary nutrients are not so different from the claims of other brands. 

Nonetheless, here are some of Vasayo’s popular products:

• V-Tox
• V-Slim 

As for product reviews, it’s good to know that most users are satisfied with how the products work. Sure, there is negative feedback but according to this source, the majority of their consumers have rated their essentials with 5 stars.

Vasayo is not a scam. 

It's a legit MLM company that offers legit products and a legit opportunity to make money online. It’s one of the fewest networking companies that’s been able to grow its sales in just a few years and because of that, it’s received a couple of recognitions and awards. 

In 2019, Vasayo has been awarded as one of the Top 50 Healthcare Companies In The World. 

However, just like typical network marketing companies, it receives complaints, too, and some of which can even be considered as red flags. 

Even on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Vasayo has a B rating. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, the website of BBB is down.

To be able to answer this, let’s define pyramid schemes and Ponzi schemes. 

First of all, these platforms share similar characteristics. For one, both are illegal in many states and countries and two, it often promises a huge return on investments in just a short time.  

Also, the only way to make money here is to recruit people, making it unstable. I mean, no member can recruit another person forever. 

Once the recruitment stops, what usually happens is that the company goes bankrupt or worse, just leave their members behind. 

As for MLMs, this platform, although controversial, is legit. There are two basic ways to make money with it and first, it is through retail commissions. Networking companies have tangible products to sell while others have digital courses, ebooks, etc., that members can make money from. 

There’s also recruitment but unlike Ponzi schemes, members are not directly compensated for recruiting other people; members make money through the sales that their downlines make.

Vasayo follows a binary compensation plan, which is common in most MLM companies.  

For every distributor, there is a right and left leg where recruits are placed.  

Members receive commissions and bonuses for enrolling new distributors (or what they call “brand partners”), selling their products, and for increasing their rank. 

For instance, a $40 bonus will be given for brand partners if they have 4 to 7 active buyers or $80 for more. Vasayo also gives 15% to 30% for every product package. 

For those who can grow their team and sponsor more people, Vasayo also gives a corresponding bonus and commission.

To join Vasayo, you should purchase any of their packages, with prices ranging from $239 to $889. 

They also offer a business kit called “Founder’s Package” and it costs $1,495. For a limited time, this kit gives brand partners access to a 1% bonus pool. 

Unlike other MLM companies, there’s no monthly-auto-ship required for Vasayo’s distributors; however, to keep their accounts active, they should purchase at least 80 Personal Volume (PV) every month. 

PROS 

Legit MLM Company With Recognitions 

Vasayo is one of the few MLM brands that were able to grow its business in just a few years.  

As mentioned, it was able to generate a million sales in just a few months. It’s also recognized as one of the top health MLM companies. 

This is worth commending because networking companies often have bad reputations; Vasayo, on the other hand, was able to prove that it’s a brand worth your time. 

CONS 

Required PV Every Month 

While there’s no monthly autoship required, there will still be pressure on the member’s part as they need to cash out a certain amount just to keep their account active.  

Mind you, selling overpriced products, such as the ones from Vasayo, is a challenge so if you’re a newbie or you just find it hard to sell their essentials but you want to keep your account active, this means spending tons of money every month while putting a pressure on yourself on how you will sell all those products.

When it comes to training and support, Vasayo seems to have a good system for its brand partners. They have Zoom meetings, which is a better alternative to learn more about the products and marketing strategies during pandemics. 

They also have PDF and training videos available online.

Overall, I commend Vasayo for being one of the good MLM companies now. We all know how controversial networking companies are but so far, this health and wellness brand managed to keep a good reputation. 

There are no lawsuits against Vasayo, which is also a good thing. In addition, the support and training they provide for their members also put them on the edge over their competitors. Perhaps, this is the reason why they manage to generate millions of sales in just a short period. 

The downside, however, is the stocks the members need to purchase every month. This will make it more challenging for newbies who have no idea how to sell overpriced products.  

Also, while there’s an emphasis on recruitment since their compensation plan benefits those who can refer new people to join the brand.  

Another con is the price of their products. For essentials that don’t prove anything, paying a hefty amount is not worth it. We all know that there are better alternatives online that can be bought for a cheaper rate.
