What’s more appealing with the company is the campaign on eco-friendly products to live more sustainably. Their products are also reasonably priced.

What Is Wikaniko About?

Wikaniko is an MLM company that markets eco-friendly health, home, and cleaning products and it’s based in the United Kingdom. Being networking, it offers an affiliate program to whom they refer to as Wikaniko Independent Distributors.

As a member, you’ll earn through retail commissions and recruitment commissions, which is typical for an MLM platform.

As mentioned, the most notable thing about the company is its reputation. People loved and praised the brand and its products with positive responses. They also don’t have any involvement in controversies and scams.

Wikaniko is indeed a legit business that comes with tangible products that are even reasonably priced.

Wikaniko comes with a rally of promoting “eco-friendly products that make it easy to live a sustainable life” as its name suggests Wikaniko (“We Can Eco”).

This is an appealing cause that would draw eco-friendly enthusiasts almost everywhere.

It can be compared to:

Wikaniko was founded in 2008 by the husband and wife team-up of Trevor and Karen Blake who are both enthusiasts in wanting to make green, eco-friendly products available at normal prices and help protect the planet.

Is Wikaniko A Scam?

Wikaniko is not a scam. It appears to be a legitimate company with a legit MLM opportunity.

It presents a business with a great product line and a decent compensation plan that you could earn from as an independent distributor. It’s also known for its reputation in the UK. Their products are praised by consumers because they’re eco-friendly and budget efficient.

However, being an MLM, it’s still not going to be easy. Though Wikanibko is not that focused on recruitment and yes, you could earn from this MLM opportunity but it might only be good as a side income.

Is Wikaniko A Pyramid Scheme/Ponzi Scheme?

We may label MLMs as a pyramid scheme because of the recruitment hype but Wikaniko is NOT one of those kinds that put a heavy emphasis on recruitment. Thus, it’s not a Ponzi nor a pyramid scheme as it comes with a legitimate opportunity and tangible retail products where you can earn from.

Their focus is more on the products and the campaign on being eco-friendly. Yet, bigger commissions and income come as you build your team of downlines who do the same. So, most probably, independent distributors will opt for recruitment to gain a bigger profit. Yes, recruitment is quite incentivized but it is not the only way to earn money here.

Here Is My Top Recommendation to Start Highly Profitable Online Business from Comfort Of Your Home

Wikaniko Compensation Plan

As mentioned, Wikaniko being an MLM itself also follows the same income approaches that you’ll find in most MLMs- commissions from retail and as well as recruitment.

So these are 2 ways to make money in Wikaniko:

1. Direct Sales - As an independent distributor, you buy products at Wikaniko at wholesale price and gain profit by selling them on retail. The difference between wholesale and the recommended retail price would be your profit. Retail income is achieved by obtaining the products at wholesale and selling them at retail, earning 33% to 45% income on the products Commissionable Value (CV).

There are 2 parts to retail income.

a) 33% Wholesale to Retail Mark-up on all personal volume PLUS

b) Volume bonus is based on and paid on Commissionable Volume (CV) as follows:

And also, they don’t require an autoship of the products. However, you're going to be the one to organize packaging and shipping.

2. Recruiting Others Into The Business - Just like most MLMs, the bigger income comes from recruitment. In Wikaniko, you can also earn commissions from sales the people you've recruited generate (up to 8 levels down) and this is known as the Group Volume Commission (GVC).

Wikaniko has a level-based commission structure with qualifying sales and recruitment criteria for each level, starting with the Distributor level and going all the way up to National Team Leader.

So, being an MLM itself. It has affiliate ranks. And this is 7 positions in their compensation/payment plan:

  • Distributor
  • Qualified Distributor
  • Direct Distributor
  • Team Distributor
  • Team Leader
  • National Supervisor
  • National Team Leader

You earn up to 6% Group Volume Commission (GVC) on your other branches as follows:

Thus, the higher your level of ranks, the higher the percentage you earn and all you have to do to qualify for GVC is to buy a minimum of £48's worth of products per month.

How Much To Join Wikaniko?

Joining Wikaniko to be an Independent Distributor will cost the first-time payment of £24.95 ($35) and this is for the website setup fee, which includes your first £4.95 monthly website fee.

After that, you’ll have to pay the monthly setup fee of £4.95 ($7).

Wikaniko’s Independent Distributors (IDs) can then get the products at wholesale prices and earn from them as they sell them. They can also expand their business by opening branches anywhere in the UK.

Pros/Cons

PROS

Green, Eco-Friendly Products At Good Prices

Not all people are eco-friendly enthusiasts but joining a business or buying an eco-friendly product can be quite impactful to one’s self. Not only you can save buying the products as an independent distributor but you also take part in saving planet earth. Now, that can be quite rewarding, I may say.

Wide Range Of Products

Wikaniko has a wide array of products to choose from in its product lines. And it’s good that you could choose from a wide variety. So, you could either promote them all or narrow them down and find a specific niche for yourself.

If you’re into skincare, then market such Wikaniko skincare products. If you’re a household mom who’s into cleaning, then promote Wikaniko’s cleaning products. It’s best to market and sell products you know and is close to your heart.

Good Reputation

A business can stand with a good reputation and Wikaniko is one of those businesses that is praised as they aren't even involved in any issues, controversies, and scams- making them a pretty established MLM.

CONS

Shipment Costs

Well, a 33% - 45% profit is fairly good as most direct marketing companies give a 30%-50% commission rate. Yet, when it comes to Wikano’s product shipment to customers, as an independent distributor, you’ll be the one to organize packaging and shipping, so, you’ll have to shell out some money for that.

Recruitment Hassle

Yes, Wikaniko is better compared to other MLMs but nothing changes the fact that it’s still an MLM that will opt you to build a team.

While recruitment is not the focus of their compensation plan, the incentives for having a bigger, more active team are more promising and can help you level up your affiliate rank.

Not A Regular Source Of Income

Yes, the profit margin is fairly good yet how you generate sales as an independent distributor is still up to you. So get creative and think a little outside the box to get yourself more marketing exposure.

But then MLMs like this take a lot of work to gain the lucrative income you desire. Unless you’re extremely good at selling and networking, I can say that it’s only good as a side income.

Final Opinion/Verdict

I commend Wikaniko for doing business for a cause.

It is indeed a legitimate MLM company and it’s far from being a scam.

They also have a wide range of products that are not only safe, eco-friendly but are also budget efficient. However, as an earning opportunity, it’s still an MLM platform that follows the MLM structure.

It’s probably still gonna opt you to recruit.

Yes, you could go for this opportunity if you want some side income but for sustainable living, there are definitely better options than it.

So, for me, I’m not recommending you to this one.
